2025-02-05 01:18:14 +0000 UTCOnly 5 min in but I just had to stop and comment so I don't forget. YES I do thing Sangyeon and Bang Chan have similar energy. I didn't know much about The Boyz going into Kingdom, I was new-ish to Kpop and loved watching and learning about so many groups I didn't know about. SKZ were the only group I really stanned at the time and Ateez I knew some songs but not much else. Chan is my bias in SKZ (and still to this day my ult across Kpop and maybe celebrities in general lol!) and throughout this show I was really drawn to Sangyeon!! Clearly I have a type 😂 They are both so handsome but in a different than usual K-standards way. Even have some similarities in features (nose and lips, I'm looking at you 🫠) But other than that they have a similar style of leadership. Strong sense of pride in their members and wanting the others to shine over themselves even though they are complete aces who could take center stage if they wanted to. Hard when they need to be, but mostly just silly soft boys and I love that so much about both of them. Also, I do love a short king who gives off 6'4" energy 🫠

I was already familiar with the other groups and they did amazing, but SF9 really were the definition of growth on this show. They kept building on what the learned from the previous performances and ended up refining what made them special in the competition. Their gentlemanly aura and grace set them apart for me in the competition. Glad you enjoyed the show!
