God! I swear I hadn't seen this vid before posting on Zin's reaction one XD. Somehow I am very proud for having used the exact same words to describe Jimin's style and Taemin's one XD. About the fact they are different dancers, which is obvious considering their backgrounds groups/solo careers and inspirations, we can question the purpose of this collaboration in itself. Fanservice? Of course. The fact to have introduced separately each of them then made them dance together was a good idea but not so well executed in my opinion. Their "solo" parts should have the purpose of displaying their own style (they achieve that for sure) while their collaboration stage could have shown the public a real harmony between them. (Didn't succeed here as Merv said). Taemin is capable of owning different styles of dance. He can be very smooth too (Want practice dance for example), I don't know very much about how Jimin can adapt his style though because I'm not following at all BTS (only knowing Jimin because he is Taemin's friend basically) but I recall he had ballet class so he can execute clean and sharp moves too yet staying fluid. So they could have meet in the middle somehow to offer a harmonized performance here. No matter how both great dancers they are, dancing together isn't enough to create a great show visually. They have to blend into each other style to do so or they should have had two different choreo, complemented one another like the part when Taemin seemed to hit Jimin and the latter react to it.
