He keeps managing to annoy you. In your... complicated relationship, there isn't a lot of room for you to stress your authority. You're, officially, his consort, you don't have a world of power as far as any demon other than him is concerned. That makes demanding things, reasonable or no, risky. So you have to make a statement a close... intimate... cloying statement... when he'd least expect it.
