Oof! This one was a long time coming! I've been so busy lately and I finally had time to finish this set from my trip to California back in August. This was one hot day! I picked up Eva from her place and we made our way to the Switzer Falls hike in the San Gabriel Mountains. We started early in the morning on a Saturday, and hoped it wouldn't be too crowded. Much to our luck, and we should've seen this coming, the parking lot was absolutely packed! Either way, we started our trek on one of the hottest days we had there. As we made our way on the trail, we stopped alongside the water under the cover of trees and out of sight of the other hikers. Once we had enough photos at that spot, we continued along until we found the fork in the trail to head up the mountain to the waterfall, or to the left to an open canyon. We started up the hill but found it was way too hot and steep for us, and would be extremely crowded at the top, so we took the left and found a canyon we crawled down to. Eva was absolutely amazing hopping around on the rocks like a freakin mountain goat! Once we had our fill, we made the trek back to the parking lot and headed for some yummy brunch in Silverlake. Thanks for reading this long, rambling post about my travels. Hope you enjoy this wonderful set!
