Itch.io just delisted all my games...
Added 2025-07-24 11:54:57 +0000 UTChey all! This morning all NSFW games got delisted from itch.io, including mine and a couple of my friends. Steam has also gone extreme lengths of trying to take down NSFW games too. This is extremely frustrating as its where I get most of my income to continue making content like this. This is in huge part due to the Collective Shout movement on fictional steam games
Although the movement is for a good cause, Im afraid that creators that have done no wrong are being caught under the crossfire. Im worried of what might come to sites like patreon or X if this continues, and with my income cut completely, i fear that I might not be able to keep this page up for long if nothing is done about it.

It's a virtue signaling movement that does nothing but harm the gaming industry. Their message might sound good, but like Just Stop Oil, they're doing shit that doesn't help anyone

2025-07-27 02:01:48 +0000 UTCI get what the movement is about and support what they're going for (been a victim of some shit personally and highly support not normalising that crap) but this makes it seem like they don't fully check the games they get taken down, far as I can remember none of your games have this issue (at most Mal.O on camera has a gender-swap of it which, hey if that's what the target was credit for the gender equality it's nice to see!), meanwhile plenty which do aren't taken down far as I'm seeing (albeit they aren't super obviously that). No hate on the organisation they mean well and have helped probably millions at this point Hopefully it's a misread and gets sorted on a second look of some sort? Can attest that there's both way worse out there than your work with way less effort put in for what it's worth, hope profits stay high enough or things return to normal soon enough
