If somehow the loroi break past Alex's lotai, or Alex deactivates it himself, Alex could be very screwed. Hell humanity could be screwed. Especially when he comes face to face with the former Mizol Emperor.

Now, I am just wondering how much of free will she had when she agreed to the ultimate order. After all, there is a kind of a very subtle but manipulative person in the group.

There's the old "Leave your best marksmen behind to lay down suppressing fire" gambit. There's even an urban legend about it, that anyone who gets an expert marksmen's badge when they don't actually need one is cursed.

But I guess that's war. :( However, I can almost guess that this tactic is going to affect Alex's judgement on the loroi in general. Quite likely not for the better.

2021-12-02 04:30:43 +0000 UTCan HOUR ago, Cloud died to trick the enemy. JUST NOW, after the jump, the enemy started de-pressurizing the shuttle.... which probably means that either they've figured out the Loroi are there, or will figure it out when the Loroi start shooting in like 15 seconds.

2021-12-01 21:33:06 +0000 UTCI don't understand. This seems to be saying that Cloud's death was to deceive the enemy into thinking she was the shuttle's only occupant. But in the previous panel, Tempo says it's OK to use the helmet comms because the enemy knows they're here now anyway. So I must be missing something.
