Added 2020-03-31 05:02:15 +0000 UTCWhen I first imagined the above flashback, sitting on my back porch as a teenager, enjoying the afternoon sun and dreaming of robots that would take over my responsibilities for mowing the lawn, such things seemed much more futuristic than they do today. Creating this panel was a reminder of how we live in the future.

If Loroi are at all the same way, Alex could become even more popular once they realize he's like 4C warmer than them and is basically a big space heater and electric blanket all in one. Fireblade wouldn't go for that kind of silly nonsense, but now I am curious what happens if Alex and Fireblade physically touch.

2020-03-31 07:37:56 +0000 UTCDespite having to move frequently as a kid, I was fortunately to mostly live in houses with big backyards with woods behind them. Those were days when children could disappear into the woods after school and not reappear until dinner time, when the voices of mothers calling their offspring back to the nest would ring out across the countryside.

Then I imagined Alex later describing some weird kid next door named Calvin Watterson, who always had this stuffed tiger with him. That's my favorite panel on this page. ☺
