Succubus Fight progress

Hi!

Sorry about the late update, I could swear the last post was last sunday which is why I waited until today... I really should decide on a fixed day to always post about progress... probably sundays or mondays. I'm leaning towards mondays, like "Ok, last week this is what I did" kind of post.

Anyway, about Succubus Fight (tentative name), sadly I still don't have anything animated. After touching up the models with shading and highlights I also have been going back to tweak little details I only notice when I import them on Unity and realize they are there. The models on the picture is what I consider final for the idle, walking and a mid-flight animation I intend to use to shoot something, unless I find something really horrible and game breaking while animating, so that part is most likely done. Today I actually started animating, or at least tried but I kept having some issues when rigging the character.

So I'm really sorry it's taking so much time, and I hope you understand I pretty much had to change to programs and animation methods I'm not familiar with yet, so a chunk of the time I'm working goes to remembering how stuff is done. And that's pretty much the reason behind this short game before Sexonomicon. So I can get a workflow I'm familiar with, and avoid something like having to remake the game midway because when I began I didn't know a bunch of stuff.

Another thing I wanted to talk about, because I want to be as open as I can be, is something else that kind of affects my work. And that is, I don't live alone. In fact, my mom lives with me. Before you think something like "Dude! This guy is surely the typical loser living in his parents' basement!", read that again: my mom lives with me :P. I used to live by myself a couple of years ago but shit happened and I kind of had to tell my mom to come live with me. Anyway, I don't exactly live on the biggest apartment in the world and my mom rarely goes out, meaning I pretty much can't work during the day and sometimes most of the night. Mind you, because of that I pretty much go to bed everyday after 6am and get up in the afternoon. And that's pretty much why my second pledge goal is to rent a small office. If I intend to do this for a living I can't really work like this and I really wish I could set it to my first goal but there's really no point in renting an office if I can't cover my apartment's rent in the first place. 

Anyway, sorry about the long post, with the delays I thought I should probably talk more about my current situation so you can understand better why it's not going yet as smoothly as I'd wanted. Sometimes I even wonder if I should have just stuck with RPG Maker for this game xD
