Early Access: Picking the right replacement capacitor

Here is a video that will be released on Monday. This covers what you should consider when purchasing capacitors for CRTs and is a follow up to the video about building custom cap kits from last month.

Thanks and have a great weekend.

Early Access: Picking the right replacement capacitor

Comments

Hi Steve, I just went through this recently, and it's great you made this video as it can be confusing with all the types of caps out there. I pretty much did the same as you did here, the only one that gave me grief is the really fat 1000uF - 160V on the G board of my 2950Q. The best through hole I could get only goes up to 2000 hrs @ 85°C or 1000 hrs @ 105°C. Anything higher is a snap in , and even those only go up to 3000 hrs. :/ What did you end up getting for yours ?
