Sony PVM 2950q Service Work

Hey everyone. I was able to work on a Sony PVM 2950q for a Customer. This includes a lot of recapping, cleaning and calibration. I did a similar study on the caps for this monitor like I did on the D Series BVM in hopes of finding a patern of bad or failing caps. The only problem was none of the caps went bad! That's right, even this PVM from 1994 still had all it's caps pass within tolerance. It makes sense because the PVM was not used very much by its original owner. Look for videos to come soon on this project.

Sorry I don't have a kit for this one. You can check with the others in the Discord to see if anyone has a list.

Did you find out which caps on this tend to go bad? I got one recently and I don't really want to replace all the caps as it would take forever!
