Q: SAW version of Wang Yi looks like an egg. Can you splice the soundbite "ζˆ‘ε°Ώε₯½ε₯½" with the picture?

I think if they added any additional content it would be in separate videos. They already do this with their individual channels but those only have an indirect effect on the China Show. I definitely think there is room for adding shorts, even if it cannibalises some of their other content... the gain in subscribers on their main channel will definitely make up for it. I understand how demanding it can be already on them to be making so much content already. But honestly I think shorts would take a lot less time, less coordination than having to get everything together for a full feature, and rn there is no better time to jump on the bandwagon with Twitter and Threads on the decline. Further to your situation... shorts would fill that gap nicely if you can't sit through a whole livestream/replay. Just grab some quick 30 sec highlights or takes on the current thing going down in China. It would be awesome with their translation abilities.

πŸ€” I like watching a weekly show or 2. But there are episodes I haven't watched/listened to just because of the time commitment. And sometimes I just want information, but the shows are relaxed and long. Not well structured, or concise. Should the news segments and chatting be separate videos/streams? That might help. Youtube shorts isn't necessary in my opinion, just a possible side thing that can help the channel. I don't mind the way things are now, just some ideas.

That’s a great idea. In fact I think the more short news segments they can do the better, especially if they are posted as YouTube shorts. By far the fastest growing channels I’ve seen are almost all doing YouTube shorts exclusively, with only 1 main show every 1-2 months. And by fast I mean 500k - 1 million extra subscribers per week. Doing ONLY shorts in that week.

I think these timely reports are important and yet the show had a timeslot in my schedule. Saturday mornings (Australian time). I had formed a habit, one YouTube was able to predict quite well. Without a scheduled day and time I can't watch. Firstly I can't watch it live because you moved it to a weekday for me (working). Secondly I am out of sync and I'm finding other content to watch/listen to Saturday morning. YouTube algorithm is aware of this and already not recommending your channel for me. It's also damn confusing. Adding in that sometimes the 50 cent army take down your video unless I watch it live just makes it a pain. What would be great is if there is something breaking you do a short segment news-break and not a full episode. Keep your weekly scheduled show.
