Because for people like me, it took moving to another country to learn that I am a good person. It took assimilating to another culture to know that I am not evil. And people like me will forever have to be the most guarded with other people with the same country of origin.

This might be the only safe space to talk about this, but I just hope someone can hear me. I am so sick of an empathetic world blind to my type of suffering: being a conscientious people raised in a dirt poor genocidal dictatorship which has to plagiarize music from South Korea, Japan and Thailand.
