Tape like this, while not perfect, is reassuring in that it seems neither AR nor the organization have lost their minds. He can't take this many hits going forward though. Pass pro was passable but run game was rough; 60, 71, and 68 are rookies and it showed at times. Some bad miscommunications and Ls taken. 95 nearly wrecked the game. 7 was invisible. 0:50 Pittman has never been my guy. His WAR would be a negative number. 1:22:00 the sound effect: Emily hit em with the high pitched aiiiieeehhhh. I went with the Monica Seles ground stroke grunt. 5:45 Emily cackled at the JTT reference. She calls him that every week. 10:00 JT hitting em with the 4.91 speed! 15:00 Don't hate power read behind Q Ball. 56 doesn't always play up to his reputation but still a huge value add when healthy. 42:30 so if Susan Boyle is my cousin isn't from Brooklyn 99, is it a Britain's got talent reference? We're stumped. Johnny Cash? Seinfeld? 57:40 Powderpuff highschool Harry? Lmao, yep that'll hit. 1:01:28 they play 3 TEs, sometimes 4. Cox, Ogletree, and Granson get most of the snaps. Mallory gets a few. None of them add much value. Jelani Woods was supposed to be the dude but he's missed 2 years in a row with toe and knee injuries. Scuttlebutt says his conditioning sucks too. 1:16:00 Nice pop pass breakdown. Makes sense that we don't want to bring the action towards the routes. 1:18:40 seeing the 1 step gives me hope that Steichen more or less knows what he's doing as an AR whisperer. Economy of movement is amazing to watch. 1:25:00 Bad miss/club selection to 81 in the endzone Overall, feeling good about the direction of this team. Less Pittman and more Downs/Mitchell/Pierce. I like Cox as a blocker/TE2 type; the rest are just guys. 71 and 60 are rookies and look ok when not lining up against game wreckers. RG 68 looks shaky. Glad you had fun with this one, JT.
