Okay, I get the thinking of going back and watching the older ones first. You get the original spiderverse and work your way up. However, (come at me if you must), I don’t think they are particularly relevant to continuing in the MCU. I’ve watched all the movies multiple times, and unless I’m missing something (it’s possible, as I’ve not read the comic books), there is nothing in the other spiderverses that has to be known before watching the MCU stuff. Now, if you’re going to watch Venom and stuff outside of the MCU, then the older ones are absolutely necessary first. And I will say they are necessary to watch in general, just not as a means of understanding all that is happening in the MCU stuff.

People are wanting you to jump back for Tobey Maguire's "Spider-Man" trilogy, Andrew Garfield's "Amazing Spider-Man" duology, and cap it off with Tom Holland's "Spider-Man: No Way Home"
