Blog: Revising the script (02/07/22 - 02/11/22)
Added 2022-02-12 22:31:13 +0000 UTCHello everyone! This past week has been pretty uneventful as far as variety. I spent most of this week finishing/revising my script. So instead of a day-by-day breakdown, here are the highlights.
The 1st draft of the script is done
On Tuesday, I wrapped up the first draft of the Super Mario World script! I worked through the weekend on this one. Right now, it's about 9,000 words long, which I would estimate to be about a 1-hour, 20-minute video.
I think the script needed some tightening up. So on Wednesday, I started going back and revising some sections. It's turning out much better this go around. I should have the revision done by early next week. At that point, Kristin & I will sit down and read the script out loud while making corrections.
There's a new Footnotes episode
Today, I uploaded the 2nd episode of Footnotes. Today is February 12th, the day Super Mario Bros. 3 came out in North America. So I thought it would be fun to show some of the differences between the Japanese and International versions of the game. So be sure to check it out wherever Gaming Historian Footnotes are sold!
Patreon rewards delay
If you recently signed up for a reward tier on Patreon, it might arrive later than usual. I recently discovered I am entirely out of Thank You cards! I should have them next week, and I will mail them out as soon as possible.
