Luis Castillo's Idea #2, Sketched
Added 2021-05-26 06:20:47 +0000 UTCHello again my friends! Here I bring you the second idea that my friend and lab assistant Luis Castillo mentioned in a series of them. This time, the kind and beautiful Fluttershy, waking up on her bed, arms outstretched. For this one I am thinking how she would live in an amphibious environment, how to adapt her house to her new needs. Since she is a Pegasus-based mermaid, she (along with Rainbow Dash) is the most adapted to living underwater, she does not tolerate well the air, and needs to keep her gills and ears moisturized. She sleeps underwater, but since it would be impractical to completely flood her house from floor to ceiling, she lives with inside the proverbial "half-full" glass of water.
I know, I know... I will see myself out, to the exit.... (*-*)

I'd imagine that'd be something waterproof. Even something like kelp. Fluttershy got the short end of the stick next to AJ. She can modify her house, and I presume this is a basement, but public places and others' I think not. AJ can live on dry land as a mermaid without anything other than ambulatory problems with tricks. And Applejack is the only one to show any straight liking for the whole mermaid thing. Others who didn't continue panicking or crying once they got what happened, Like Pinkie and Rare adjusted out of necessity or found the novelty of it something to get excited about and explore. When did any of the others have that look while looking at their tails like AJ did?
