Should I stop posting EXE versions of PAL?
Added 2018-08-11 22:40:34 +0000 UTCThis is important: in recent times the problem with players getting false virus alerts from their anti-virus software when they download the .exe (Windows executable) versions of PAL has become more and more common. I like having an executable version because I feel it makes things a lot easier for new players, but if the new players have to fight their AV software to play it then it's not a welcoming format anyway. What's more, I think the player base for PAL has probably reached about its maximum for now anyway and I'm just wrapping up loose ends for real fans of the game at this point.
Add to that the fact that uploading both versions of such a large file is really slow and takes over my whole bandwidth, uploading and downloading, for about ten hours or so every time and I was thinking, why don't I just ditch the executable altogether? The blorb version isn't that hard to run and shouldn't cause so many problems.
I won't do this, however, unless you guys are okay with it. What do you think? Feel free to comment as well as voting!

2018-08-12 10:01:05 +0000 UTCYea I totally understand, now that window seems to act like a A$$ at times and it even does what Norton does a lot of times when Norton see a software, it right away wants to block it and remove it for you even though you know what the software is and is adding it to your computer but Norton being Norton, but now it seems that window 10 defender got it training from Norton and pretty much doing the same thing unless you have that software company and all it stuff on your safe list to give you updates for it software, but yea a good idea
