Charge up front is now enabled
Added 2018-06-20 11:25:55 +0000 UTCIt seemed like no one was against the idea of having it enabled. And honestly I've wanted to enable it for a while now. But again, just to reiterate: Current Patreons will not be affected.
So why is this a good thing?
1: It stops people who never intended to support, to "leech" Patreon only content. Which is very discouraging.
2: By knowing that people can't leech, it encourages me to create fun Patreon content to show my love for supporters.
3: It allows both 15$ and 20$ rewards to be handed out immediately (or as fast as I can at least).
4: It makes the Patreon earnings much more accurate, which means that when we reach a Patreon milestone. We can know that we've ACTUALLY reached that milestone.
Why it might be a bad thing?
1: People are unable to preview being a Patron and then change their mind without being charged.
2: You pay immediately for the current month and then the 1st of each month after that. So if you pledge 20$ at the end of the month, then you'll be charged again for your 20$ pledge just after a few days.
