I don't want to give away all the best stuff from the new orgy scene, but I just thought this would be a really good one to show off. It's not actually the climax of the scene (if you look closely you'll see Kenji is hotdogging Iku's ass - there's no penetration yet) but it's a very nice pose, I think. I have another angle of this same shot that I also like, so I'm using both in the scene. What do you think? Let me know.
Fumi/Iku orgy scene
On the subject of that image, this is the scene I've been working on this week. Actually, if you've played the demo or the alpha you'll know that there's an extra element to this scene that I'm not talking about because I don't want to release spoilers for the players who haven't tried any version of the game yet. Don't give it away!
This week the programming, testing, sound editing and image design for this scene has dominated my time. I do think it's coming along pretty well and it's now playable from start to finish with no bugs that I'm aware of (emphasis on the last bit). I also wrote several new sections so the writing should actually be complete now for this scene, with no placeholders.
I'm going to be releasing the next alpha, with this scene included, before the end of this next week. Even though it's not completely done I think it's still pretty good as it is, and I might finish it in the next couple of days. Look forward to the new version coming soon if you've got alpha access!
Speaking of threesome scenes
The new orgy scene is made in the same style as the Ai/Rio threesome - a series of five choices rather than a conventional AIF sex scene - so it's maybe a little bit shorter than a one-on-one sex scene, but it's still full of content and it gets to the good stuff quicker.
I actually made these design choices for specific reasons, beyond just saving me some development time (which is a factor but not a decisive one - I'll go the extra mile if it's better for the game). I feel that once you've already achieved an interactive sex scene with each of the girls you are in more of a casual flow of gameplay; it takes a while to get to that stage and therefore jumping straight into the more explicit sex, then getting some unconventional, orgiastic combinations is more interesting than just going through 'rub tits' and 'lick pussy' all over again. One thing that really distinguishes this game from the previous Pervert Action games is that there's a lot more sexual content and character development that comes after the sex scenes than there was in the older games.
And yet I do plan to have the third threesome scene be a little bit more like the main one-on-one sex scenes, albeit a streamlined one that emphasises orgy combinations.

a) Ah, yes, it's always been a lurker community. :) I was actually really surprised by how much support I got on Patreon since I so rarely heard from anybody who'd played the games. I do appreciate feedback when I can get it because I can use it to improve the games. b) I did find that it was easy to build a kind of natural relationship between Iku and Fumi; their character flaws are kind of complimentary to each other. Interrelationships are always something I enjoy playing with when developing an idea. c) An interesting point - I actually worked backwards for Ai and Rio's intertwined stories. I was having trouble working out how to make a threesome scene for Ai but then I thought about how other characters could have a potential connection and I realised that Rio, who I was also having trouble placing, made sense if I thought laterally about the story. I can't really explain it in full detail, some of the spoilers are still to come in the endings and the harem mode.

2016-06-21 10:07:47 +0000 UTCJust idle musings really, trying to promote -some- kind of discussion here. Your patrons seem to be rather lethargic, aside from Rex. And yes, it's mostly physical based. It'd make no sense with the current story to do them any other way, Fumi's just my favorite while I'm not a fan of the ditzy big-titted girl archetype so Iku's....far from my favorite, lol. Like I said, though, it'd make no story sense. Iku seems to be somewhat maternal or at least supportive of Fumi, unlike everyone else in the Mansion, while Rio and Ai's backstories are too intertwined for any other combo to work.
2016-06-21 07:02:14 +0000 UTCYou do indeed - I've never been sure whether I should release them, but on the other hand players who have played the alpha before would have already been able to find the 'placeholders' that sit in place of the start of the combo scenes anyway. Hopefully everyone's excited for the next combo too!

I tend to think about characters first with the combos because it's hard to write a full sex scene and so the scenario needs to feel like a 'natural' combination. Not necessarily a realistic scene, but something that has a clear and interesting character dynamic for the entire scene. I could probably see how a Rio/Iku scene could play out (although it would overlap with stuff I've already done elsewhere) but Fumi/Ai would be quite hard to do. Thanks for the feedback.
