tl;dr - Thanks to work on the threesome scene and the new night service responses I think the next alpha will be ready soon!

This is from Fumi's new night service responses.

I'll be honest, I'm a little conflicted on this image. I think it's okay, probably acceptable, but I don't think it's one of my better ones. Looking at it I can't put my finger on anything in particular that's wrong with it, though.

I'd appreciate any feedback on this picture you can offer - do you like it?

Pervert Action Wiki

This is a bit of ego on my part, but I've long wanted to see a Pervert Action wiki that people would fill out with information, details, characters, tips for the games, etc. (Some other adult game authors have this, which is what makes me want it.) Anyway, it looks like someone did actually start one! Fixing the need to set the graphics mode at the start of the game

I've long wanted you to not have to click on the images on the right side of the screen when you load up the game to make sure it sets to 'Actual size, centered'. At the moment if you don't do that then the images will be kind of stretched (or very stretched, in some cases). Fortunately I was able to coordinate with Campbell Wild, the programmer of the ADRIFT engine, and now he's fixed that problem. It was already supposed to be fixed, but the fix was bugged. Now it should be a solved issue whenever the next version of ADRIFT comes out (no idea when that will be, but hopefully before the final release of PAL).

Worked on the Ai/Rio threesome scene

This week I actually had a nice bit of a breakthrough with my progress on the Ai/Rio threesome scene. It's not like I wasn't working on it or anything, but my progress felt sluggish on the game in general, and I've been concerned I've been a little weary and burned out. That's broadly okay because I have a holiday coming up and I think that will recharge my batteries but I still didn't want to have a few weeks of sluggishness before that happened. This week I was pleased to find that I was able to make some good, old-fashioned progress on the Ai/Rio scene, as I edited all the sound files and programmed the remaining elements of the scene.

Worked on the new night service responses

I've now programmed in the new level five night service responses. I've written and illustrated 6/9 of these, as well as slipping in a little bit of voice acting where I could. As for the other three, I'm working on it. I'd hoped to have those done by now, but it's not a big concern that it's not finished - it's just that it's often hard to come up with another sex response when I've already done a bunch of similar ones with the same character. It's usually better not to force it too much, but to just leave it and work on something else instead.

New alpha should be ready soon

Last week I said it was unlikely that the next alpha will be ready this coming week, but after pulling some extra work hours last week I now think it will be. I admit that I was following the advice of Scotty from Star Trek - say it's impossible so when you achieve it you're a miracle worker - but I legitimately didn't think I'd get the time to finish it up. Instead I did get the time, so that's some good news. I still need to do some testing, but hopefully v0.8.0 will be done soon.
