Full-Album Reaction Poll: August 2025

We've heard some pretty uplifting albums so far this summer between Less Than Jake's Hello Rockview and Lagwagon's Let's Talk About Feelings—but this poll features some darker, heavier entries based on the songs I've heard. Well...are we getting dark and heavy for August?!

Cool to Be You from Descendents is also back after landing in second place in last month's poll. And—with 15 polls now under our belts—I'll continue bringing back albums that lost in the past for another chance. This month, Plastic Surgery Disasters by Dead Kennedys gets another shot!!

This poll will be open through Tuesday, July 22nd, and the winning album's episode will be posted on Friday, August 1st!

*Please remember that I'm only considering albums that contain songs I've already covered on YouTube. Requests have closed for this month, but will reopen on August 10th, 2025.

Agree. And then watch Filmage!

Mark, first thing you gotta do after the Cool to be you review is listen to the Chris DeMakes a podcast episode with Bill Stevenson about the song One More Day. It’s gut wrenching, but a must listen. That song will hit so much harder afterwards.

Well even if Propagandhi was on either labels, they only really have one album that fits Fat Wreck Chords' early general sound. But I get what you mean and I agree. Descendents were at their best when on SST Records anyways.

It is what it is. “Cool To Be You” is a fine album, and it means another one down that can’t come back up for voting but like, can we please get some diversity around here, I’m begging y’all. There are so many more styles of punk rock beyond EpiFat. The burnout is getting real.
