Short Update

Hey everyone,

I just wanted to give you all a quick update. The Christmas patch is nearly complete, and it has evolved into something entirely different from what we initially planned. What started as “this is so funny, people are gonna have a blast” has transformed into “holy crap! This has an actual plot and so much potential to grow.”

I don’t want to spoil the last-minute changes we’ve made, as that would ruin some key plot points—especially regarding Evelyn’s scenes. Jazz’s scenes, in particular, serve as a prelude to the plot of Blood Lust. I can tell you this much: the entire patch takes place over the day and night of December 23rd into December 24th.

If, after a community vote, we decide to wrap it up here, this patch will stand as an incredible mini-game on its own, and we’ll move on. However, there’s a lot of room to expand the story. We could easily create a second or even third installment of the Christmas patch in the future.

This update already includes 13 amazing, fully animated scenes, a few smaller moments, and a fantastic ending. But if our supporters enjoy it and want more, we’ve made it clear where the story could continue to grow.

On another note, Journey Abroad’s tech demo is progressing well. I won’t spoil anything since we’re almost finished, but we’re very excited for you all to try it out soon.

As for Blood Lust, the votes are in! You all voted for the main villain, and after tallying the results from Patreon and Subscribestar, we have a clear winner.:

This character will be the main antagonist of Blood Lust. But if your pick didn’t win, don’t worry! There will be plenty of other antagonists, and we know which ones were your favorites. Some of them may even return as other characters in the story!

We’re thrilled to announce that the first tech demo for Blood Lust will also release this month. There’s so much exciting content we’re eager to show you, but I don’t want to spoil anything yet. Once it’s out, we’ll dive deeper into the details because I’m sure you’ll have lots of questions after playing it.

There's a lot I want to talk about with you all, but I'd rather release the patches first, and then we can focus on it as I want to share a piece of my mind, what has happened these last few months, but I want it to remain objective and not have it sound like an excuse, so we'll deliver first, complain about life after.
