Added 2017-05-06 06:43:08 +0000 UTCAlright, so I know I haven't been very attentive to my Patreon in posting exclusive stuff for it, and for that I apologize because I did promise something special for you guys paying (for which, I'm very thankful for)- at least aside from the exclusive alternate versions of certain drawings, that is
So here's what I'm going to do, I'm going to change up what I did with offering suggestions and instead will hold a raffle. The original idea with the suggestions was to have them and I would do them as sketches that would stay here, though I would do three or four weekly... and I haven't done one. Also, it hasn't been really useful because I honestly do not need the suggestions- I honestly have way too many ideas to draw as it is.
So, what I'm going to do instead is hold a special raffle for ALL of my patrons. At the beginning of each month I will open up a raffle,- you guys will type in the comments and I will randomly pick the winner the 15th of every month. The winner will get a full-color, fully shaded, free commission (Yeah, I know it's not technically free, but a $5 commission is still a pretty sweet deal), which will be posted the last day of the month, and it will stay here in Patreon.
Now the month has already started, but I would like you all to still participate in this. I'm still thankful for you all that support my Patreon, I apologize, once again, that I don't use it this much, though do keep in mind that I did say this would be pretty much a tip jar. If that wasn't clear before, it is now. Though now that I'm taking on commissions, this would be a good chance to give you guys something a little bit better for being more supportive! :D
Oh, and as far as the suggestions are concerned? I'm not doing away with them, but I'm only going to ask for them every now and then. So there will be text posts like these where I ask for suggestions, but that'll be all- the raffles will be taking over.

Raffles you say? Have never been lucky with something like that :D Well, I guess it is reasonable enough if you think it is going to be more convinent for you. On the other hand, a free commishion seems to be much more effort and time consuming in contrast to just sketches, despite the fact it is of a "higher quality". I mean, I guess for the time you work on a commishion you probably could make three or even four solid sketches, thus making more people interested. Theoretically speaking. taking into account the raffle takes place once a month and there are 9 patrons already, on average a person is supposed to wait a year to get it guaranteed, which after some calculations turns out to cost as regular price of a commishion. Of course, that's not the main goal of your patreon, just as you said, all I just want to say each of options has its stronger and weaker sides. :)
