Dev update, future, 0.7 and other stuff
Added 2018-06-08 17:20:44 +0000 UTCHeyyyyy, it's been a while since the last one of these. I wanted to update 'yall who are not on the discord on the going ons (and tbh, this has info not even discord peeps know).
First of all, the poll for 0.8's focus has ended and the winner is the harem route. Cool. But that's ways off for now, instead, lets shift our focus and talk about 0.7. Some of you probably already noticed, but the counter on my front page has some weird little thing attached to the bottom. A second counter.
I don't want to go too much in to detail about that, I want to keep it a secret for at least a little while.
But I will tell you this much, that thing's gonna be completed and released alongside PL 0.7. If you've followed my twitter, you might have heard some murmurings(is this a word?) of this decision. My rationale for it being that, I don't think the Emily route (which is what 0.7 is going to be about) is nearly as popular as the Elly route or the harem route. I would feel bad charging you guys for an update most of you aren't pledged to me for.
And frankly, with my current plans for 0.7. It simply isn't as good of an update as 0.6 or 0.5. (too much dialogue and not much sexy times)
I had three options I was thinking about,
1. Just release the update and hope I don't get backlash
2. Don't release 0.7 and go straight to 0.8
3. Release 0.7 alongside this other thing I've been brewing for quite a while now
After discussing this with a friend, I came to the conclusion that I'll go with option 3.
However, this doesn't mean that I'm putting PL on hold or anything, in fact, quite the opposite. Once this other thingy project, is released, IT will be on hold. Until the final release of PL. Or if I ever decide otherwise lol.
If there's anything I want you to take out of this hassle, it's like I said on twitter " Note to future self, don't make a route to your game you don't personally even like the premise of. " <- For any future devs out there :p
See you again in a few decades for the next dev update

I would have been okay with any of those choices. I am cool with waiting longer for a better release, but I am sure I am in a minority, maybe a minority of one. By the way I am new here. I tried out your game at the suggestion of the Icstor page and liked it enough to become a patron. Good game!

2018-07-06 01:21:14 +0000 UTCmake all routes fuck what people think :D it is up to them to choose and if they choose something they don't like well that is something for them to redo not everybody else ( this applies to life as well you make a choice that is yours to own not every body else to adjust for you or if you are offended by something that is your cross to bare not everybody to be censored because of your upbringing or religious view I eat pork in front of Muslims and Jewish people as it is their problem not mine )
2018-06-23 07:40:28 +0000 UTCI think all paths have their perks, don‘t think it’s necessary to focus one, despite the fact that this is the most interesting. But if there are no differences in the story based on your decisions, why implement decisions in the 1st place.

2018-06-21 09:48:48 +0000 UTCI haven't taken the Emily only route,t but here's a possible solution for the Emily only route if you're not feeling the creative love. If the MC has rejected all the other females by this point, perhaps you can just have MC marry Emily (following Ignatz's ring comment above) and everyone lives happily ever after, game over. But players following any other route can continue, with faster updates as you don't have to spend time developing the less popular Emily route. (My 2 cents, your opinion may vary)

Haven't played 0.6 (new patron), so not up on the latest developments, but I think that it might be possible to turn it into an Emily-only / voyeur route. Trying to stay true to Emily while seeing the other ladies go get their fixes from other increasingly inappropriate / fetishish sources each time he rejects them might work.

2018-06-08 17:55:22 +0000 UTCI'm probably in the minority but I'm in for the Story and dont mind a little less Sex Scenes. A good coherent romance-story is more important to me than a few sex scenes.
2018-06-08 17:46:11 +0000 UTCI'm one that says I really don't care about Emily. The wife route is just so tame and you can get it anywhere. The reason most people play PL I'm willing to bet is to get Elly and/or Ada or all three of them, but not Emily alone. Emily only route is just boring.
