2025-11-16 07:04:12 +0000 UTCOh, I love the “Labour” song. To me, that song is about global systemic patriarchy, and how many men weaponize their privileges not only in relationships but in society. How women have been sold this dream that some man was gonna “save them” but really we trade freedom for slavery. All women can relate. Very sad yet real song. She should have won all the awards for that song. Love Lisa Fischer. She’s sang background for Luther Vandross, Tina Turner, The Rolling Stones, Sting. She still tours.
