Chapter 41 has an edit. When Samus asks Senson who broke the desk he now gives a technically it was Selleck answer before being coerced into revealing it was Grant. lol. I love that!

2026-01-19 09:12:49 +0000 UTCHey guys I don't know if this has already been put out, but Bryce actually did a lot of little edits and adds that I noticed in chapters 44-49..only in the 1-50 doc though. We get to see Rei tell Aria to contact Sarah, and a glimpse of a draft of Sarah in combat training with some of Bryces musings. There is also an expanded convo between Viv and Aria at the end of 44 and Rei's 1st fight with Kay is fleshed out a bit. Anyway, enjoy!

Or would Abel be thinking that she could take Rei and Shido to team them up with other top ranking cadets (from Sol?) hoping to replicate the effect?

I know she is pushing them because of the war, and probably trying to see if she can get Chancery or Logan to have an evolution or change. But the way she does it drives me crazy. Bryce, well done in creating a character that can illicit such a reaction.

2026-01-12 02:59:47 +0000 UTCI mean, this is all speculation, and Bryce is writing the story, but... Probably part of the motivation, but I doubt the only motivation. She probably also wants to see how much grit they can all show as future soldiers in the war. I could probably think of a dozen or so other things she's trying to determine, not the least of which is if her gamble with making them push to stay at Galens is more effective than just forcing the transfer and sending the message that it had better be, if they don't want that outcome. Most people reading this are probably thinking about this from the school mindset, but these are essentially military cadets, and extremely valuable assets for the military with this particular group of cadets. So, Abel is likely not just sizing them up, but also sending a message to the brass in charge of their training, 'THIS is what I expect. Stop treating them like children.'... But again, that's a guess based on context Bryce has given, so unless Bryce spells it out more clearly, take it as only speculation.
