You can make that comment on one of the warformed posts. break break as for the value proposition you did a calculation for, that's different for each person, so make your choice and cool.

Not to "be that guy" but if you look at it, we have received 20 chapters this year that means at $5 a month you're looking at $55 so far for early access. Then if you consider the average book being 60 chapters you are looking at $165 until it is done at this rate versus the at worst "promised" 26 chapters (should be 23 so far but I expect less as the holidays coming up but 26 is what the worst case for the year), we would be looking at ~2 years or $110 plus the ~$12 for audible. Now if we go total asshole, we will look at the number of paid subscribers being ~3k so then math.......that means ~153k per year just from Patreon which means about $7,600 per chapter. I guess there is some art so looking at rates it looks like maybe 1k per so let's say 140k per year depending on how you claim that and I'm sure the postcards are great but even 20k of them would probably be less than 2k to print and if we take the less than 80% rebate analogy then we would be looking at less than less than 600 confirming a card (my guess is less than 100 confirmation comments) so for the $7,600 for the month your looking at let's say worst cast for time etc $1,350 for no content and "reuseable" art. Now I'm not trying to be that guy, but I also enjoy POA and they have had 78 comparable chapters so far this year at $10 per month and that is the slowest writer I currently enjoy, and it's still double the content. blah blah blah things happen etc. etc. etc. but tbf i get paid less at my company and my mother and grandmother died this year, and I got 3 days, so not to be a dick but how does it take a month to post anything after a surgery. I mean *shrug* it's your book so w/e but I personally believe that if you posted anything about anything things would be less hostile. If you posted everyday about your thoughts about where the book could go or polls or fan art submissions or anything really then you would get less flak. Just my opinion nothing hostile. I'm sure none of the numbers are correct since multiple authors but tbf there is the possibility of solo.
