I highly recommend watching the Alicia Keys live performance at the 61st Grammys. The video is on YouTube and it’s called Songs I wish I wrote it’s an amazing performance and I would love to see a reaction to it.

Her phenomenal singing ability is something to marvel at but I always felt she was wasting her talent on pretty commercial, uninteresting material. Pretty remarkable though how she grew up not speaking English and had a huge fan base in Quebec for something like 10 years, singing only in French.
