Great review. I hope you add Drill Music in Zion album to your list. It will not disappoint. Keep up the great work gentleman 🤙

… that is such a silly mistake that I made I do not know what I was thinking when I said drill is from New York. I’m so sorry 😭 being a huge Keef fan that was just a misspeak I promise haha.

Drill is from Chicago, not New York. Great review but being from Chicago I had to defend that! lol. A lot of Chicago references in this song including when he's talking about Star of David and GDK

There was an occasion where Lupe called Obama a terrorist on FOX News, and also called him out on his song "Words I Never Said". Y'all should react to that one, it's great. He was also invited to Obama's inauguration party and he kept performing Words I Never Said over and over again until he was eventually kicked off stage. Also wanted to add on that Lupe released an album titled Drill Music In Zion last year.

CTA = Chicago Transit Authority. Thats why he says "I used to CTA it. Ferrari...

That's what I thought right away. 22 twos from Reasonable Doubt

would love for you guys to react to Tetsuo & Youth and Drill Music In Zion. Or Even The Cool since he's experimenting on there heavy

LUDACRIS! Your Dad needs to hear and know who Ludacris is, unsure of which tracks specifically but you (Kai) are knowledgeable enough to know where it would be good for your Dad to come in on some Luda. All the best and great reactions as per the usual. Love from New Zealand 🇳🇿

Aj Lui

His record label ( Atlantic) tried to cancel him and refuse to release his music

Tough song to react to on a first listen!

Do you guys think the two 2's section is a reference to Jay-Z's songs 22 two and 44 fours? Great video, guys!

Daniel M

In reference to him being like Jazz, jigga, ECT, Jazz could be referring to Jazzy Jeff

You guys should react to Drill Music in Zion. It’s a fantastic album!

I'm pretty sure Kai knows this already, but drill music originated in Chicago, where Lupe's from, not in NYC 🙂 I spotted some references to Roc-A-Fella and Jay-Z, which makes sense considering the song's title. "I can sell money to the poor, a pyramid to a mummy" for example is a famous reference to a Jay-z line on "U don't know" (which can be a great song to react to). As for Lupe, I suggest to react to Murals which is a lyrical masterpiece, even though it can be hard to decipher on a first listen.

I’m a fairly new sub in your YouTube and I love your content. I don’t usually join creators Patreon but I had to support you guys plus you have some awesome reactions. I’m also a fan of 90s hip hop and that’s what drew me to your channel. I listen to all genres but I love 90s early 2000s rap. I never knew you’re just now reacting to The Chronic album. Omg that’s one of my favorite albums of all time. Can’t wait lol. Keep up the awesome videos, guys.

I think that given your dad loves the poetry and political conscious of Lupe you should do Wav files (and times nu Roman has a visual breakdown to help with the density). WAV files is really one of the most beautiful songs in hip hop.
