I see the Kanye influence Kai mentioned but a greater influence to my ear was Trent Reznor of Nine Inch Nails, especially The Fragile album. I think the drum loop y'all spoke on in CIRCUS MAXIMUS Kanye and Travis both sampled "The Beautiful People" by Marilyn Manson which uses these iconic drums. I love this album, I've had it in heavy rotation. I think this album is most definitely front-loaded as Kai and Dad suggests, y'all reacted musch the way I did, too. I'd say my favorite two tracks are Thank God and I Know?. Your sentiment about Travis' mostly hedonistic and (i love the guy, dont get me wrong) vapid lyrics and limited introspection. I kjnow AstroWorld, but not much else from him. My two favorite Travis songs are from his AstroWorld era: Highest In the Room Remix (original is great, this is better imo. It was recorded first, actually) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y6nSfXkFMw0&ab_channel=LyricCamp Yosemite (off AstroWorld) The production on this track is outstanding. June James is my most favorite producer of this generation. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ykMHDKB0-1o&pp=ygUVeW9zZW1pdGUgdHJhdmlzIHNjb3R0 Thank you agian for this fantastic channel. I learn so much about somethging I already love everytime y'all review music I know.

Does your dad listen to the doors because if he does, he should totally show you them

Super hilarious

Hey CR, updated it now with timestamps now in case you were waiting to view it, thanks :)

Thank you I totally forgot this time! I typically do for all of our uncut album reactions here on Patreon, however I was working around the clock on this one to get it up as soon as possible, with like 3 hours of sleep so I totally forgot once I got it up. I'm gonna fix that as soon as I can. Thanks for watching!

Please consider time stamps in the future. Especially on long videos like this. Appreciate y'all!

CR

The way you stopped talking immediately when the bass dropped on "Skitzo" was exactly my reaction lol
