It seems to me a bit out of character for Viv to doubt Rei like that.

I have to agree with this to a point. I also think different relationships progress differently, but it is weird that we go from Grant acting really shell shocked and Viv being embarrassed from kissing, to them being completely intimate in the course of 1-2 days. That seemed really jarring to me.

I’m thinking Viv gets an external AND her Growth ranks up!

Different people's relationships progress differently. Viv's been shown to be super forward and had lots of dating experience. Rei, despite his bravado, hasn't. Naturally neither has Aria, so she is super blushy and shy about it, and Rei clearly isn't willing to push it to risk it, and likely doesn't have the best of experience himself as it's his first time dating too.

Why are we seeing so much of a huge jump in Vivs relationship and not the main characters Vivs gotten farther with Aria then Reidon has?

I'm thinking Viv hasn't got an ability yet because Gemela is just as stubborn as she is. So Shido is having to work extra hard to get her to cooperate. 🤣🤣

I love this chapter and I love that the dynamic between Viv and Logan is still there but not quite so dialed to 11. I think Viv is going to get a User Specific ability, she deserves it after all they've been through.

I've got to disagree with some people on this. I didn't see the moment when Grant wrapped his hand around Viv's neck as anything but intimate partner violence. If breathplay is a kink they share that has nothing to do with this. This was Grant using the threat of strangulation as a rhetorical tool and has pretty much ruined any attempted redemption arch in my eyes. EDIT: Okay so i skimmed that part of the full preview. I'm glad you changed it to just restraining her wrists. The i feel carries the idea and dynamic of the situation better without also being a big red flag about this relationship.

I have to agree with people. I love the pictures of Grant we get when he's alone with Viv. And I really like the suggestions of both intimacy and violence; the new version feels more like "intimate touch, with a bit of threat," while the old version relied more heavily on the thought that Logan wouldn't hurt a woman without cause (or trigger.) I also like the changes happening around Rei. I thought for a few chapters that all the growth happening around him was because of the Countdown of Doom... though it could be that too. The other potential yummy hovering on the horizon is that Lennon might develop yet another OP ability... and wouldn't that be fun. <3

Well the original went off script cause they caught up to the manga. Brotherhood was the actual full story. Same situation with GoT. Why it got bad after it caught up to the books.

Yes yes yes. I love the changes to the second part. It was a great scene before but the little tweaks are icing on the cake. Also the first part i might die before finding out from anticipation but its friggin awesome

Ohhhhh I was totally thinking Rei would get an ability to be able to somehow “share” his growth spec with the others. (Figured he needs a way to keep him from completely blowing past them all!) Didn’t consider that they’d get advantages just by being around him! So cool!
