I can understand them wanting the Arena to take up less of the overall campus than what is shown here, however, the Arena compared to the other campus buildings doesn't work for the reason you said. Ultimately they'd need to shrink the other buildings as well I think in order to get an accurate representation.

Or that you have already shrunk the arena described in the text to the point we see at this stage? Because if you consider building occupation ratios. Remember the arena holds 150k people above ground and the other building on campus may hold 1000 or less. The arena should dwarf everything on campus and probably be more at home amongst the skyscrapers of castalon. IMHO
