i like it. it shows the evolving interaction of the friendship that was just a simple protector protected relationship between Viv and Rei. It also intrigues with the teasing of new training and the Aria Viv interaction will play out interestingly. Will Aria take cues even though she is not as brash and out soken as Viv.

2022-07-12 11:24:03 +0000 UTCAs for a Malfoy... 5 years. "Have to get stronger" Rei and Co. know there is a real enemy to face. The rest are annoying distractions for them, that play on their youth and hormones or they couldn't hit the radar. Rei's already experienced that he can, and will, out Growth anyone his age in a relatively short period of hard work. You can't write in a Malfoy his age without the MIND dropping another S or SS into the equation.

2022-07-12 11:21:06 +0000 UTCLOL Half the team comes with so much baggage, that just showing them overcoming it IS significant. If you think of Rei and Grant's backstories, Viv and Aria's family drama that could get leveraged. There is plenty of internal conflict for them to fight off field.

I like that the team is ahead of power and skill curve as it is based on hard work, so would lean towards some dramas at school… Basically need Reys version of Malfoy Really loving the book so far 👌

UGGGHHH Its annoying having this bother me so much. I pretty much reread all the chapters every week there's a new chapter. I've been skipping over the parts with Viv and Grant since book 1 and it looks like Ill have to employ that same tactic for book 2.

Parents race to cover their kids' eyes as Cashe's palm carves a permanent spot on her face. Viv and Catcher cheer loudly. Reese has a heart attack. Salysta...also probably has a heart attack.
