Galens Emblem sketch (WIP)

2022-05-11 23:22:58 +0000 UTCWe're aware there's a slight similarity, but the reality is that a lot of bird-themed medals/emblems carry that similarity due to the need to make the wings clearly wings. You can see this on the US's Army Commendation Medal and Meritous Service Medal, just as examples.

2022-05-11 22:52:22 +0000 UTCPlease don’t take this as me accusing anyone of anything I’m a huge fan, but at first glance, perhaps because of the way the tail curves in relation to the feet, it looks kinda sorta like the nazi eagle that stood on top of the swastika. Again. I do not for a second think it was intentional or that that’s what it is or anything like that but with the wrong color scheme it could be awkward to say the least. No disrespect intended at all, I cannot stress that enough, but maybe take a look and make a little change or two to help differentiate it from that. Or at least make sure the colors aren’t red and white (I confess I cannot recall what Galens colors are so maybe no one but me saw it that way). Again, big fan, just wanted to make sure that was considered so no one would see it and get the wrong idea about Bryce or wraithmarked. Sorry if I’m way out of line but this really does come from a place wanting to help.
