I just find it all interesting

It's wonderful to see Teen's character development and follow Joe's amazing performance. He's so damn talented ❤️ and as Kathryn said in one of interviews, he's such beautiful human being ❤️❤️❤️

2024-12-17 22:06:38 +0000 UTCI have to say that watching this episode again, I was reminded of all the jokes that are in the scene with “Mr. Bonerific” and how perfectly Evan Peters plays that scene. I love that William/Billy has a boyfriend who we almost instantly like. I’ve seen a video that puts the events of the night at Agatha‘s house from this episode alongside the way we see them in episode one, and it really is very clever the way it’s all put together. And though if you watched the next episode the same day you recorded this, I’m sure that episode absolutely blew your mind. I’ve got more to say about it in the comments afterward.

I was hoping you might say something about the double mirror reflections when he goes to his room the first time, I think it is such a fantastic use of imagery, showing that he is 2 people (William and Billy) but also implying he is a twin… They use reflections a lot in this episode…

Joe's had a very similar I Love You scene in both shows in October, with the iconic "you go first, no I'll go first" trope. Luckily this time he could read his boyfriend's mind so he knew to go first! Billy and Charlie both loving their boyfriends' arms in both shows! This is not the first gay mcu relationship and kiss - there waa a gay married couple in Eternals.

2024-12-17 19:43:46 +0000 UTCSo Joe is Wiccan (he never gets named as such so this isn't a spoiler but this episode was the confirmation) or Billy Maximoff, the son of the Scarlet Witch. Wiccan is his superhero name and Alice Oseman drew Charlie as Wiccan and Nick as his boyfriend Hulkling back in 2017 for Halloween. This is why so many were excited when Joe waa cast. Marvel fans crossed with Heartstopper fans hoped that he'd be playing one half of the only iconic gay superhero couple in the Marvel comics. Alice manifested this too it seems! Wiccan in the comics is Jewish and gay and very powerful.

I love how as well, we do get more backstory a fair bit, especially in the next episode and episode 9. But this journey has been incredible, that's what I love about Marvel I've been a fan for over 3 years now, and just the build up for a great storytelling, you just have to trust what they are doing and with this show they did that. And amazing shoutout to Daniel Selon the brilliant coustume designer for Agatha All Along, I love how you can see more of the red in Billy's hoodie ahh this show really is one of the top tiers to really showcase everything and I'm hoping for that too, because I know we all would love to see an adventure of Billy searching for his brother. And this is why I'm very hopeful that Marvel can bring Joe Locke back in more Marvel projects because his intake as Billy is by far such a brilliant work ever! He knows how to inbody a character and see it all come together. And yes, like I must say Heartstopper and Marvel is one hell of a great outlook at what Joe has done so far, like I'm truly proud of the Heartstopper cast and really able to work with some of the best top actors out here
