Not good. I also gave in and watched the rest of the episodes. I’m weak, what can I say? Really looking forward to the new series. Also, fuck August.

I envisage some sad and difficult times to come for him.

Edvin said in an interview that the show wasn’t about labelling either Wilhelm’s or Simon’s sexuality, that for example, Simon’s problem is not that he’s homosexual but that he’s poor and that he and Omar felt they could get behind the idea of a portrayal of falling in love with a person almost irrespective of their gender.

2022-10-08 00:35:45 +0000 UTCI want to second what Annanas said about Wilhelm in the scene with Felice: I think his intentions are the best, but she misinterprets them. I also think that Sara, being autistic, tends to say the truth without regard for social niceties because she doesn’t naturally recognize them. I don’t think she’s trying to be mean to Felice. Yeah, the ending of this episode does blindside you, and I think it’s meant to. I also think it’s hard really to compare these shows like “Young Royals,” “Heartstopper,” “Love, Victor,” “Skam” (season 3 in particular), etc. cause each of them has something unique that they’re dealing with. I think you hit the nail on the head about this series being as much about class as sexuality, whereas “Heartstopper” is much more about coming out and finding who you are in adolescence. and the other shows I mentioned have their own specific trust and deal with issues that the others don’t. some shows are more successful than others at achieving with their intentions are, but some people tend to judge because they want a show to be about something that it isn’t.
