The Future of Indestructoboy's TTRPG Content

Kind of a conflicted announcement today, but I got a big push from another creator to begin my move away from publishing my content on the Dungeon Masters Guild. 

After making content for the platform for nearly four years now and experiencing some highs and lows with the Guild, it has become more and more apparent to me that there are several problems surrounding the Guild's policies and sects of the Guild's community that I don't feel quite right associating myself with moving forward.

Does this mean I'm not writing TTRPG content any longer? No. 

Does this mean I won't ever appear on a DMsGuild product again? No, collaborations are still very much a thing.

What this really means is that I want to focus more so on the Indestructoboy brand. As the channel continues to grow at an average new subscriber count of 10-20 per day, it's very possible that, after seeing the growth happen exponentially, I could see the channel sitting at 10,000 to 20,000 subscribers before the end of 2021 (12,500 would likely pay my rent off of just YouTube revenue!).

Part of this brand focus was a first big step tonight. I registered the www.indestructoboy.com domain where I will be posting my homebrew work in the future. I believe at this point, I have the skillset and outlook on this craft to take this on in the same capacity while removing myself from commitments to the DMsGuild. The website will also include some of the other facets of my life: education, gaming, lifestyle advice, music, whatever. I want this website to really feel "me" and foster a community around these loves. 

Now, a small update on some other projects:

1.) Pet Dealer Merchant - This subclass is one feature away from completion and should be coming before the end of 2020.

2.) Prestige Portfolio - A new series that I will be working on is a rotation of Prestige Classes, released as a whole 20 or so page supplement. The first one is the Undead Prestige Portfolio, featuring the Apparition, Mummy, Revenant, Skeleton, Vampire, and Zombie prestige classes. A preview of the Apparition is available on this post!

3.) Tasha's Cauldron of Everything video series - These will resume 12/21/2020. I'm taking a  doctor-ordered break from the non-stop tandem of video creation and honestly liking this pace of a few weeks on of making videos, then spacing them out as scheduled releases. More on the way, I promise! 

I don't think I'll be going through all the spells and feats, but I will be doing an all-in review once I've wrapped up all these subclasses!
