Supporter Newsletter - March

Hello to all of our beautiful Supporters! It is March and you know what that means... We're so close to heading into Spring and leaving behind this cold weather. I would also like to mention that this month will mark my birthday for those of you that would like to know. :P

During the last month, we have had a lot of fun here in Requiem. Primarily, we have now seen the launch of our MERCH! This has been such an exciting announcement to bring to you all and I can't wait until you can all get your hands on our awesome products. It really has been a long time coming with many roadblocks along the way but we have pushed on and here we are. If you haven't checked it out already, make sure you head over to our Merch store. (https://shop.requiem.gg/)

During February we have had a lot of movement throughout the Moderators and Admins. This means an assortment of things. We've sadly had to say goodbye to some amazing Moderators as they pursue other endeavors in life, alongside that we have also brought on new faces to the team as well, and lastly, we've had some positions changes within the team to new roles that focus more on Marketing and Operations within the community. This did slow down some of our gears a little bit but was mostly just us taking the time to oil them up again to be ready for the future. Things are looking incredibly bright for Requiem and the upcoming things that we have planned.

I want to briefly share some fun things that we've been talking about. With how things went with our Summer Bash last year, we wanted to take a step up from there for some even more awesome fun. We're exploring different options across our game sections for events like a Sea of Thieves Tournament which won't entirely be your traditional tournament and a Minecraft Social Experiment that we want to host. During our Summer Bash, we plan to have different weeks dedicated to the games we host within Requiem so that you can jump from each game and enjoy those events as we host them.

Okay, let's jump into our expenses for the month of February. Please note that all of these expenses do not include any extra revenue Requiem did not spend. A majority of the money spent for February has gone towards Staff Benefits (%26) which includes staff payments, team giveaways, officer of the month, sot officer plunder passes, etc. Our monthly normal savings (%20) go towards our charity events and taxes at the end of the year. An additional expense that we always have is our Server Hosting/Design Work (%10) which goes towards our VPS, Dedicated Machine Hosting, Graphic Design, Video Editing, etc. Our last monthly expense is our Events/Giveaways (44%) which goes to exactly what you'd think.

Lastly, I wanted to leave you all off with a big Thank You for joining in on our Charity Event during February. Together as a community, we were able to raise just over $1,300 for the Wounded Warrior Project. It's always such a blast to host these Charity Event Streams and have you all come to hang out with us. Keep being awesome!

Happy March!

Throughout the past couple of months I have been working on multiple projects. One of the biggest and most exciting things I have been working on is our merch store which we finally launched for pre-orders in February. It's been in the works for a long time now and I couldn't be happier to see it live. As our Community Manager, I have also been working closely with our staff members to find new ways to keep morale high and remind them how much they mean to us. I've been handling all of our upper staff transitions while we see different people move in and out of different roles and was also able to bring on a couple of new moderators. Throughout March I will continue monitoring our merch shop and pushing for people to check it out as well as staying close with all of our incredible staff and members. I'll also continue working on different internal projects and push for another amazing month. As always you can reach out to me anytime for any type of support and thanks for reading!

Xoxo,
Penny

Hello everyone, Plucky here once again! February has flown by, with numerous events that happened across the board. This past month served as a crucial transition period where our game teams got accustomed to having internal event structures. I've been working closely with our SoT and MC Teams to ensure that they are comfortable in their new responsibilities, as well as ensuring that we can sustain such high levels of enthusiasm towards events. I'm thoroughly thrilled with the directing that we are heading, and what the future of Requiem events!

This month we also saw the huge release of Requiem's Official Merch Pre-orders. Our upper staff have been tirelessly working on this to make sure that the launch was as successful as possible. The wait and the hype has paid off and we can't be happier, also to add on to that, anyone who pre-orders any of our merch will receive an exclusive Hypebeast title! During February we also hosted our first Charity Event for the year, where we managed to raise $1360 for the Wounded Warrior Project. It was an incredible stream but there is no time to relax as we are already diving into our preparations for our next Charity Event scheduled for late April!

March is here and we are ready for the challenge! With the launch of our epic Minecraft 1.18 server, the MC team has been hard at work on creating some awesome new ways to interact with our Minecraft server, and planning some amazing events that we will be able to host as a result! March is going to be a key time for planning what the next step for Requiem Events will hold.

As always, keep an eye on the Events tab so you don’t miss any upcoming events, and don't hesitate to reach out if you ever have any suggestions, questions or concerns about any of our events! Peace out!

Hello there,

the last month we've been wrapping get up season five and got ready to jump on the hype train for the new content dropping in March.
The first adventure gave us a glimpse of what Rare has in stock for this year and we're excited to find out where the journey is heading.

We're looking forward to seeing you complete new voyages, conquer the see forts and engage in the new events we have in the pipeline for you.  Have you ever considered joining our officer squad? You can find the application here: https://www.officialrequiem.com/sot-officer With the new season starting March 10 we're expecting a huge influx of new players and the return of seasoned sailors on our servers. To make sure that everything runs as smoothly as you're used to we intensified our efforts in staff recruitment and hopefully see a few new hands on deck.

Bon voyage,
Jones

Howdy gamers!

As we here at Requiem continue to push towards adding value for each and every one of y'all, I have some exciting new responsibilities I will be taking on. In addition to upholding my duties with Requiem Minecraft, I will now be diving into Requiem Operations as the new Operations Manager! Requiem has a ton of moving parts and I'll be working towards keeping the member (and supporter) experience as smooth and value-packed as possible by refining our internal processes and ensuring that every action we take is in the best interest of our community.

For Minecraft, we just launched our new 1.18 Survival server and are looking to keep the creativity flowing as we dive into some newer game modes and events this upcoming quarter. Keep an eye out for new Requiem Minecraft announcements and updates!

Thanks again for your continued support and I am looking forward to some exciting advancements this upcoming month!

Kindest regards,
DirtyJ
