SPEEDRUN EXPLAINED 18: Production Update 1

TL;DR at the bottom.

The 18th speedrun explained video is in production, with a tentative public release date of January 25th. The run being discussed in the video will be a Shura Ending run of Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice.

If you're unfamiliar with the game and/or category, the Shura Ending is the fastest ending in the game. There are also several versions of the run: Unrestricted, No Airswimming, and Glitchless. The video will be covering the Unrestricted category, which is pretty much this game's equivalent of Any%.

Right now, I'm at Games Done Quick, but I started writing the script for the video before I left in anticipation for being out of commission for a week while I'm away from home, and I was actually able to completely finish it before I left. I sent it out to the runner but they’re also attending GDQ so they won’t be able to make notes until after the event, at which point we’ll make revisions and then move on to recording commentary. 

Speaking of Games Done Quick, if you're reading this on the day of posting (January 6th, 2020), then you can tune in later today to watch my Fallout Anthology Main Series (Any%) speedrun at the event. My run is at around 5PM Eastern, and will be on at twitch.tv/gamesdonequick.

Also, we recently hit 50+ patrons which is just nutty to me. I’ll make a new Fan-Fiction Friday video and post it when I get home, and also schedule a Q&A stream for sometime after when I get home as well. I’ll give you guys advanced notice of when it’ll be, and also leave up a form for you to ask questions in advance that I’ll address on the stream.
