🎃 Halloween
Our next update will be festive — yeah, the date wasn't picked by accident! We are preparing a Halloween-themed update: not only will there be main scenes, but also a small themed event. A Zergling in costume? Sarah in a Halloween atmosphere? Anything is possible! Heaven help us get everything done on time! 😄

You know that feeling when you're planning and it seems like you have plenty of time... and then suddenly you realize, “Where did it all go?” 😅
There really is a lot of work, but most of it is already behind us. All that's left are the finishing touches, which, as usual, require the utmost attention and patience.

🚀 APOD-33 “Specter”

The Specter shuttle is not just a means of transport. It is a special troop transport ship designed to deliver units even to the hottest of landing zones. Its armor is thinner than that of heavy shuttles, but this is what makes it fast, maneuverable, and virtually invisible to radar.

⚙ Interior
Despite its compact size, it is divided into several compartments:

• passenger compartment for personnel,

• technical compartment,

• tiny medical unit with a biocapsule,

• cockpit with a panoramic view.

Nothing but the necessary, at first glance. Just functionality, just combat missions.

But Specter has another purpose.
📖 It became a place of pause.
Somewhere between missions and barracks, between death and rest. It is here that one can “breathe out” — or, conversely, take a breath before the next task.

🖤 And yet... even in such a confined space, people remain human.
The cramped passenger compartment, the semi-darkness after disembarking, the irregular breathing patterns — all this creates an atmosphere where the boundaries between colleagues become dangerously blurred.
Someone closes their eyes and falls asleep on their colleague's shoulder. Someone goes to the medical bay to “check the capsule.” Someone deliberately lingers when the others leave, leaving the door half open.

Even in the sky, secrets are born that were never meant for anyone’s eyes.

Before we start, we want to immediately mention that we are at the finish line!
There are only a few issues left to resolve regarding the mini-game, and we are planning to launch the beta test and release today or tomorrow.
Below, we will provide more details about the reasons for the delay and what has changed.

🔍 In-depth review

In this update, we decided to take a slightly different approach to testing.
Earlier, when the release date was approaching, we could sacrifice details for speed.
Now, we are seeking a compromise: we are refining scenes and effects so as not to lose the atmosphere and immersion, but at the same time not to delay the release date. 

A beautiful and engaging game is more important to us than simply “getting it out as soon as possible.”

Music has always played a huge role in our projects. This time, I thought about taking it to the next level with vertical orchestration. 

In short, it's a way to make music more flexible: it can change and adapt to specific moments in the game, enhancing the player's emotions.
It may not be implemented in Slutcraft yet, but we definitely want to experiment with this system in future projects.

Of course, we always have plans. All our efforts are now focused on finalizing and releasing the update. And right after that, we'll take a little break.

By “break,” we don't mean a pause in our work, but rather a slight slowdown in pace: after weeks of intense work, we want to allow ourselves to breathe and recharge our batteries so that we can move forward even more productively.
