Why it failed

• First pages are kinda slow
• I just don’t like series that start with flashbacks
• Might be too meta so people didn’t “get it”
• Also it’s weird OP says he never talked to anna but they talk in the first chapter, been nice to see him as a kid scared of her
• These chapters are kinda dense and are a lot of reading
• I’m 3 chapters in and I have no idea what’s going on with the plot of this
• The story moves way too slow
• I feel the manga doesn’t explain its rules very well so when they start manipulating the formula I’m not sure what’s going on
• Sometimes I feel the faces are kinda weird
• Sometimes the art gets kinda…well rough
• Takes way too long to have the spicy fantasy stuff like chapter 18 to see the magic kung foo was way too long
• Totally dropped the female MC knows the MC is in love subplot
• I have trouble knowing who is in whos body, I think having different colored text boxes or shapes would have helped a lot
• Yea this series kept starting and stopping ideas like so many wasted characters it needed a plot cleanup

What it did well

• Some good art though people got big foreheads
• Funny, I feel it’s not super over the top with the humor
• I think it has good character interactions, if you notice it doesn’t use nameplates which is always nice
• The author really likes making fun of tropes and I dig it
• The random action moments are fun
• I like the fact the female MC knows the MC has a crush but he doesn’t know he admitted it
• Chapter 6 it def picks up
• Fuck has some good art
• Characters are genre savy like the MC noticing the japanese guy in the flashback looked like him
• The like ghost exorcism was funny

Where it could have gone

• Wanted some cool french revolution facts
• Actually show the strengths of the princess like maybe some classroom diplomacy
• Actually go into toaism vs christianity, be cool to learn more about the contrast and mixing of the religions
• Maybe nest Marie knowing how to do things due to her historical life, like a slumdog millionaire thing
• Add more action there’s a lot of talking and not actual fighting which seemed cool
• More weird date, I mean why not have this play out the romance part naturally it feels forced like didn’t want to have it
• Fuck yeah punch exorcist
• They could have seeded the reincarnation ting a bit better, like imagine if the spell had kept failing and they thought it was random why it worked

• I appreciate they note let them eat cake wasn’t actually said
• Leo Nahori used the cicada move from black torch
• People have very small hands
• This was kinda a soft anthology series like level e
