Well, I still think that the best way to know people is to hang around with them so the best way to know ourselves is to hang around with ourselves. But yeah, sometimes friends show up with new informations about us and it could be frustrating to discover that someone know something about you better that you even realize. It's also a nice moment to discover who take care of you. Also, your hair is amazing.
2016-12-02 09:55:42 +0000 UTCI get very nervous meeting new people, usually at work, because I want to be perceived as friendly yet professional and I overthink trying to balance the two. I get a gray at myself for saying or doing something embarrassing because I feel that someone will think less of me for it. Maybe I just need to chill out and quit worrying so much about people's perceptions of me? Not that I want to go too far with that and have no self-awareness.. Ugh. People. Emotions. Complicated.
2016-12-02 01:58:27 +0000 UTCOne thing that makes me angry is when I am sincere toward someone and I really care and I receive a really sarcastic response. Gah. Anger sure it valid, You reminded me of quote I saw recently: "A good friend is someone that sees through you and still enjoys the view." I do think that means seeing the whole person and still loving. People that use that sandwich method are really refreshing to talk to.
