Added 2023-03-08 04:24:35 +0000 UTCEmerald City Comic Con was great! (Or so I'm told, I stayed home and worked on other things all weekend.) Everyone is tired but they seemed to have had a good time. Phil brought me a shiny thing to hang in the window, so I'm happy. It's shaped like a moon and made of some kind of man-made stuff that catches the light and makes it practically glow rainbow colors. It's pretty neat!

(I know that any character drawn by Phil Foglio can suddenly have big irregular teeth that get bigger and more irregular as their emotional state gets more intense, but Blintzie's chompers have been consistently drawn as fangs throughout her appearance in the story.) And her ears seem to be getting more and more pointed as the story progresses. I don't she'll turn out to be a Jägermonster, but I do expect she will turn out to be some kind of monster (at least in part—human-dragon hybrid, perhaps?). After all, what better cover is there for a monster than being a notorious monster hunter?
