Daichi and Yoko Himura

Hikari, fortunately, instead has a pair of absolutely doting parents who are in the know and supportive. Daichi and Yoko met when the latter was still a magical girl - Daichi was always throwing himself in danger to protect others until support could arrive, and this bravery and selflessness charmed Yoko even as she had to drag his butt out of both metaphorical and literal fire.
When their first child was a girl, they knew well what might become of her - it was in the blood, the family business on the mother’s side. But they made sure to give her choices, to make it clear that she only had to take up the amulet if she wanted to. Of course, Hikari being Hikari, she very much did - and ever since, Yoko has served as a mentor almost as much as a mother, while Daichi works his hardest to make it so that his heroic daughter doesn’t have to worry so much about what happens at home.
