Finished Painting; a few close ups

Hopefully these images of the finished piece will help you understand some of the process in my work.
I wasn't able to film the entire thing because this is for a gallery exhibit, and sometimes when I'm recording demos, a natural flow doesn't quite happen the same because I'm thinking of what to talk about.
When I'm painting by myself, there are moments when I really feel connected to the subject and the magic of the experience is difficult to explain. It is very close to a spiritual experience although, I'm working with tangible, physical objects which keep me grounded to reality.
Comments
Start with simple exercises (3-4 days long) then add complexity as you feel more comfortable. This will be helpful to get back into it again!

2022-09-26 14:35:35 +0000 UTCMichael, when you demonstrate and explain your process it seems so easy, even I could paint beautifully. Then I try and somehow it doesn't look the same. Maybe I'm overthinking this and trying to produce photographs. I've got to adjust my approach I think.

When I record the demos I'm painting and editing the livestream so there are many things on my mind. That's why I sound crazy sometimes, lol!
