Production Update 5/21/23

Busy busy busy
Writing update:
So I've been busy still! Graduating hasn't really afforded me a ton more time, but I'm still making progress! The script for the new part is currently at 25k words which is great! But its not as much as I had hoped for today. There are a lot of important conversations I have to get right to make sure they hit correctly, and that requires time and help so it has been a bit of work. I hope its interesting enough, but this meeting is an important one so I want to give it the time it deserves!

Art Update:
The captains sprite is. . . DONE!!! 100% exported and ready for the update. That's a huge load off of the work and now I'm just focusing on BG's and CG's. Unfortunately (or maybe fortunately?) Its looking like I'm going to need around 8+ again so it might take longer than I'd like, but I've already started sketching/modeling some of them so we'll see. Where is the captain? Well, to be honest I'd like to keep her design a secret for now. I want the reveal to be all the more worth it, and trust me, I think she' worth it. Also there was a small update for the Rhoun sprite as you can see above, I just fixed his leggies.
Also, I've commissioned at LEAST four new songs! So we'll see how those go! I hope to use some of the for the next update and just hold some for later.

Life Update:

Busy. . . Like I said post grad is still a lot of work. The job hunt is rough and I'm moving soon so things are a bit weird and cramped here, hah! It should be good soon, but it's a lot.

What to expect:
Ideally and hopefully, an update next month, but don't go into next month expecting it. Knowing how long the last one took me it might take me a month and a half. I wont need anymore sprite work done but there's still the task of BG's, writing, coding, editing, etc. I'm working everyday and I really want to get this out for you guys, but I'm slow and its a lot of work.
There will be no art updates for any of the existing sprites this update, as I can only really do one per update as they are time consuming as heck, but next in line is Marruk! (unless plans change but hes the next planned)
