Throughout the morning at the university library, I sat beside Alex as we each worked on our own projects. At one point, I looked to my left and saw Alex quietly scribbling at his computer. Then, once he was quite satisfied, he turned to me and proudly asked, "What do you think?" This was when I first beheld the photo of eyeless Trump and words failed me.
"Is this what you've been working on for the last half hour?"
"Yes! What if I made a video about it?"
I considered. "I guess that would be... interesting. Were you planning on it?"
"Maybe."
After that, we no longer discussed eyeless Trump.
Six hours later we were back home and seated on the couch. I was casually scrolling on YouTube when I heard Alex laugh from the opposite corner and whisper, "This is so good."
My Spidey sense activated and I reloaded my homepage, and there it was, in all its glory, posted one minute ago.
And that is the story of how I watched Alex edit a video about eyeless Donald Trump for an entire day without realizing until it was posted.
