Build-A-Character (Part 5)

Okay, okay

Doing multiple things at once is always a good decision

So far we have a Uteran Combat Sorcerer of the Revanant. (And if you recognized all of those nouns, you get a gold star!)

But let’s keep it going! We are almost there. Now that we have the broad strokes, we can really get a picture of our character with a personality archetype.

CHOOSE A PERSONALITY:

The Professional

Cool and collected, this combat sorcerer has been honed to a razor’s edge. Capable of transitioning from elegantly swirling a glass of wine to a ballet of carefully choreographed violence without a moment’s hesitation. Always has her eye on the prize but still knows the value of striking a cool pose whenever possible. Never looks at explosions.

The Survivor

Gritty and self serious, this sorcerer is the steely-eyed veteran of countless battlefields. Kicking ass is just an incidental side effect of her dealing with the day-to-day. Always clenching a battered cigarette between her teeth and sipping on a flask of something just this-side of poisonous. Looks unreasonably cool while shuffling a deck of cards.

The Daredevil

A fun-loving adrenaline junky with a devil-may-care attitude. This sorcerer knows the art of controlled chaos. Nothing makes an impact like flash and explosions and she always holds to her adage that It isn’t fun unless it’s on fire. Yeah, she could just make the jump, but wouldn’t it be badass if she could grind the rail of that whole staircase before she lands? Backflips whenever plausible. Smiles brightest when the danger is hot.

The Beast

Discipline meets barely contained fury, this sorcerer is unleashed upon the battlefield. Practicing a monk-like discipline outside of combat, she bursts into an almost feral animalistic state and runs riot when the action kicks off. Runs on all fours at full speed, jumps off walls. A furious storm of fiery magic and teeth and claws. Often plays mahjong while politely nibbling on dog treats.
