Although I totally understand that the revelation that Robin isn't "The mother" feels a bit weird, I think it's a little nice twist that perfectly sets up a show where you never really know what's happen next. I feel like it really just fits the show :)

While this isn't the best sitcom in the history of sitcoms, it's a lot of fun to watch; the characters, the actors....they make it good. It perhaps would have flopped without that cast, especially Neil Patrick Harris and Jason Segel. I loved Segel in Freaks & Geeks and several films. These are the types of sitcoms I enjoy, though. The "family sitcom with 2.5 kids" and the precocious child-delivering-funny-line doesn't appeal to me (though admittedly, Modern Family is an exception as I liked that a lot). I chose to not have that kind of life as an adult, so I simply don't relate to them very well. I love the sitcoms that deliver sharp wit and a life perspective. If you ever want something truly unusual for your channel that I know I've never seen a reactor do, there are two seasons of the original 1960s The Addams Family (yes, in black & white) that are available on various platforms for streaming. I know Amazon Prime has it (with brief ads). Anyway, just a thought. I've never seen anyone react to the original series that kicked off from the cartoons, only the movies and the new Wednesday series.

Really happy I re-subscribed; this is going to be a fun journey! To answer your question, yes, Alyson Hannigan is a main character in Buffy the Vampire Slayer. She plays Willow Rosenberg. That's actually where I first saw her work, as it's one of my all-time favorite series.
