Gotta Snare ’Em All: A Jungle Fury Welcome!

When the Jungle Fury Rangers joked about the takeover of Krusher Karma Pizza, they believe they’re simply visiting an eccentric new training ground. Instead, they’re greeted by a nightmarish ambush orchestrated by the Krushers, who swiftly reduce their proud status to a nightmarish novelty. Each Ranger’s screams echo through the greasy diner as they realize they’ve walked into a living horror show.

But have they just been ‘caught’ like collectible beasts—immobilized and doomed to perform in a crumbling menagerie?

Special thanks to my loyal and royal patron friends:

Battle pets, I choose you!

The forest was unusually still that morning, save for the faint rustling of leaves underfoot as Casey, Lily, Theo, and Dominic trudged through the winding trails. The sunlight flickered through the canopy above, casting dappled shadows on the ground. Casey adjusted his bag strap, a smirk tugging at the corners of his mouth as he glanced at his teammates.

"Okay, so does anyone else think this whole ‘special training session’ thing is just RJ’s excuse to dodge a full day at Jungle Karma Pizza?" he quipped.

Lily grinned, tucking her hair behind her ear. "Wouldn’t be the first time. Remember the ‘mandatory meditation day’ that turned into him napping in the back with his feet up on the counter?"

Theo rolled his eyes, ever the voice of reason. "Come on, you know RJ. He’s not dodging work; he’s...recharging. Or whatever it is he calls it."

Dominic snorted, hands shoved into his pockets. "I’m just saying, maybe if he spent less time 'recharging' and more time running the place, Jungle Karma wouldn’t look like it’s one overdue bill away from becoming a laundromat."

Casey laughed. "Can you imagine? RJ working under someone else? Like, 'Welcome to Jungle Karma Cleaners! Don’t mind the lingering smell of burnt pepperoni.'"

Lily chimed in, giggling. "Hey, at least the place would finally get a new paint job. And RJ? A tenant in his own shop? That’s too good."

They all laughed, the playful banter easing the tension as they neared the clearing where RJ had promised to meet them. Except… something was off.

Casey squinted, pausing in his tracks. "Wait. Wasn’t the clearing supposed to be, like, right here?"

Lily frowned, looking around. "Yeah. He said we’d see it after the third trail marker. We’ve passed four."

Theo checked his watch, then his surroundings, a knot of unease forming in his chest. "Okay, RJ’s quirky, but he’s not… ‘forget to show up to his own training session’ quirky."

Dominic nodded. "This feels...weird. Like—"

Before he could finish, a voice rang out from the tall grass ahead.

"Welcome, students!"

The four spun toward the source, and there he was—RJ, in full Purple Ranger attire, stepping out from the grass. His vibrant skintight suit shimmered in the sunlight, and his helmet, designed with a wolf motif, caught the light as he struck a dramatic fighting pose.

"Are you ready for the ultimate training session?" RJ announced, his voice carrying its usual awkward blend of enthusiasm and mystique.

The Rangers exchanged glances. Casey tilted his head, a half-smile forming. "Uh... cool entrance, RJ. But what’s with the whole ‘new place to train’ thing? This isn’t exactly the scenic clearing you described. Did you—" He paused, grinning. "Did you lose it too?"

Lily crossed her arms, raising an eyebrow. "Also, since when do we do training sessions in full Ranger suits? This isn’t exactly covert."

Dominic chuckled. "Yeah, and speaking of weird—what’s the deal with the pizza place? You didn’t… you know… sell it, did you? We’re joking about you being a tenant, but..."

RJ tilted his helmeted head, his posture still locked in an almost-too-perfect fighting stance. "Ah, yes. The pizza place… Jungle Karma has, indeed, found new owners."

The Rangers blinked in confusion.

"Wait, what?" Theo asked, stepping forward. "You sold it? To who?"

RJ’s tone shifted, colder, detached. "My new... masters."

A ripple of unease passed through the team. Casey instinctively reached for his pocket, brushing against his sunglasses Morpher. "Masters? RJ, are you okay? What are you—"

The sound of heavy footsteps interrupted him. A group of five figures emerged from the tall grass, their sheer presence as jarring as their appearances. They were grotesque caricatures of rural hillbillies—utterly obese, dressed in stained wifebeaters and jeans for the men, while the women wore scandalously frilly outfits that seemed grotesquely exaggerated. They all sported red caps emblazoned with the word Master in bold white letters.

"Well, well, well!" the largest of the group, a balding man with a thick southern drawl, spat as he stepped forward, his sweat-slicked shirt clinging to his rolls of fat. "Ain’t this a pretty picture? Lookin’ like a buncha lost little lambs wanderin’ into the lion’s den."

The woman beside him—a garishly dressed, obese figure with caked-on makeup—chimed in with a high-pitched laugh. "Aw, darlin’, don’t scare ’em just yet. They don’t even know what’s comin'."

Casey narrowed his eyes. "Who are you people?"

The man grinned, revealing yellowed teeth. "The name’s Krusher. You can call me Big Daddy Krusher. And these here? My kinfolk. Together, we’re the Krushers—and we own that there pizza shop now. Along with this here Purple Ranger."

Lily stepped forward, anger flashing in her eyes. "You don’t own RJ. He’s—"

"Quiet, girl," Big Daddy Krusher snapped, holding up a glowing orb. It pulsed with a low hum, and as it did, RJ’s suit seemed to react—humming and throbbing faintly in time with the orb’s pulses.

"What the—" Theo started, but Big Daddy cut him off.

Thinkin’ you’re somethin’ special, prancin’ around here in your little jackets, actin’ like you own the place. Hate to break it to ya, kiddos, but this forest? It’s ours now. And so’s your little buddy here." He jabbed a thumb toward RJ, who stood silently, his Purple Ranger suit shimmering unnaturally with faint pulses that matched the hum of the glowing orb in the Krusher’s hand.

Casey’s fists clenched. "What are you talking about? RJ’s not yours!”

"This here’s an Energorb," he said with pride. "We slurped ol’ RJ into it, see? Right inside. And when we spit him back out, well… let’s just say he ain’t exactly the free spirit he used to be. Ain’t that right, boy?"

RJ’s head jerked slightly, and his voice came out—strained, eager, but hollow. "Yes, Master. I am yours… ready to serve."

The Rangers recoiled, horror and disbelief written across their faces. Dominic stepped forward, fists clenched. "RJ, snap out of it! This isn’t you!"

Big Daddy Krusher laughed, a guttural sound that seemed to shake the air. "Oh, he’s snappin’, alright. Snappin’ to attention for his masters. Now, let’s see how good a pet he is, huh?"

RJ darted and his body jerking awkwardly. He dropped into a fighting stance, his movements animalistic and twitchy. "I... will prove myself," he said, his voice tinged with desperation and something almost feral.

The Rangers, stunned, instinctively reached for their Morphers.

Big Daddy Krusher grinned. "Go ahead, morph. Won’t make a lick of difference. Soon enough, you’ll be joinin’ him as our pets. Just like ol’ Purple here."

The Krusher leader grinned wider, his fat fingers caressing the orb. "Y’know what’s funny? This little toy’s got room for more. I reckon y’all would make some mighty fine additions to our collection. Ain’t that right, darlin’?"

One of the women stepped forward—a grotesquely obese figure in a garish, frilly dress that barely contained her rolls of flesh. She licked her lips hungrily as she held up her own Energorb, its surface slick with her sweat. "Oh, you better believe it, Big Daddy. I call dibs on the White Ranger. Mmm, he’s just my type. Can’t wait to see him all shiny and obedient, crawlin’ at my feet."

Theo grimaced, his hand instinctively reaching for his Morpher. "You’re disgusting."

The woman’s tongue slid over the orb, her eyes glinting with anticipation. "Oh, sweetie, you ain’t seen nothin’ yet."

"That’s it," Casey snapped, pulling out his Morpher sunglasses. "Guys, let’s take these freaks down. Now."

The team pulled out their Morphers one by one, each slipping them on with practiced ease. They called out in unison, their voices echoing through the forest:

"Jungle Beast, Spirit Unleashed!"

In flashes of energy, their suits materialized, each gleaming with vibrant colors and the primal power of their animal spirits.

Casey stepped forward, fists raised. "With the strength of a tiger, Jungle Fury Red Ranger!"

Theo adjusted his stance, his movements precise. "With the precision of a jaguar, Jungle Fury Blue Ranger!"

Lily twirled into position, her energy radiating confidence. "With the speed of a cheetah, Jungle Fury Yellow Ranger!"

Dominic spun his weapon as he joined the formation. "With the power of the rhino, Jungle Fury Rhino Ranger!"

The four Rangers struck their battle poses, ready for action. Big Daddy Krusher smirked, unimpressed. "Well, ain’t that cute? Y’all playin’ dress-up like it’s gonna help. RJ, boy, show these kids how it’s done."

RJ’s head snapped up, his body jerking into motion like a spring unwinding. He lunged at the Rangers with terrifying speed, his movements a blur of power and precision.

Casey barely managed to block the first strike, his arms shaking under the force of RJ’s blow. "RJ! Stop! We’re your team!"

But RJ didn’t respond. His attacks came relentless, each strike more brutal than the last. His wolf-themed suit shimmered ominously as he moved, his fighting style honed and animalistic, a clear reminder of his experience and strength.

The battle raged on, but it was clear the Rangers were outmatched. RJ’s agility and power overwhelmed them at every turn. Theo went down first, a swift kick to his midsection sending him sprawling. Lily tried to counter, but RJ dodged effortlessly, his movements almost feral as he knocked her off balance with a spinning kick.

From the edge of the clearing, the Krushers watched with glee, their grotesque forms barely hidden by the tall grass.

"Look at that," one of the men chuckled, slapping his belly. "Big ol’ Purple’s takin’ ’em apart like they’re nothin’. Once we’re done with ’em, I’m callin’ dibs on the Red one. Reckon he’d look real nice scrubbin’ my boots."

"Scrubbin’ your boots?" another woman sneered. "I’m thinkin’ he’d be better servin’ somethin’ else." She licked her lips, her gaze lingering on Casey.

Meanwhile, RJ continued his assault, his strikes brutal yet unnervingly halfhearted, as if some small part of him resisted his orders. Dominic managed to block one of his blows, his Rhino Morpher sparking with energy. "RJ, fight it! You’re stronger than this!"

RJ hesitated for the briefest moment, his helmet tilting as if trying to remember something. But the glow of the Energorb in Big Daddy’s hand flared brighter, and RJ’s body jerked violently, his hesitation erased. He lunged at Dominic, slamming him to the ground with a force that left the White Ranger gasping.

"Aw, ain’t that sweet?" Big Daddy crooned. "They think he’s still in there somewhere. Hate to break it to ya, kids, but ol’ RJ? He’s gone. All that free-spirited nonsense? We crushed it!”

***

The clearing echoed with labored breathing and the sickening crunch of boots on dry grass. Big Daddy Krusher stood proudly at the edge, his grotesque bulk framed by the shimmering glow of the Energorb in his hand. He watched with glee as RJ, his newly broken battle pet, lunged at the Rangers with the ferocity of a wild animal, his movements erratic and terrifying.

"Y’all see that?" Big Daddy boomed, his voice thick with mockery. "Look at him go! That there’s what a proper pet looks like. No more free spirit, no more thinkin’ he’s better than anyone. Just a good, obedient beast ready to serve his masters!"

RJ darted forward, his wolf-like helmet catching the dim light as he hammered Theo with a rapid series of blows. The Blue Ranger barely had time to block, his arms shaking under the relentless assault.

"You’re wasting your time," RJ hissed, his voice trembling with a twisted mix of eagerness and derision. "You think you can fight this? Fight me? You’re all… so weak. Pathetic. Worthless! Just like I was before I was fixed." He let out a choked laugh, almost a sob, as if mocking himself. "But now… now I’m better. I’m perfect. And soon, you’ll be perfect too. Just like me. Lowly. Owned. Loved!"

RJ let out a shuddering, uneven laugh, his voice breaking as if he couldn’t control himself. "You feel that? That’s the end. It’s already over. You don’t even know it yet." He gasped between words, as though his own thoughts overwhelmed him. "I saw it—how pointless it all is. Fighting. Pretending to be strong. It doesn’t matter. It’s better this way. Easier."

He stumbled back for a moment, his body convulsing with jerky movements, before lunging forward again. "I was nothing before," he hissed, his voice a manic snarl. "And now I’m… I’m complete. And you will be too. Just stop! Stop trying. It’s useless!"

Lily darted forward, trying to flank him, but RJ spun with unsettling speed, his movements a chaotic mix of grace and jagged spasms. He caught her with a brutal kick to the ribs, sending her crashing to the ground. She clutched her side, gasping for air as RJ loomed over her, his helmet tilting slightly, almost as if he were observing her pain with fascination.

RJ let out a wheezing laugh. "Why keep going? Crawling, fighting, hoping? Just fall. Let it end. Serve. It’s all you’re good for."

Casey charged in, his fists glowing with red energy as he swung at RJ. "Enough!"

RJ caught Casey’s punch mid-air, his grip ironclad. His helmet tilted, his body jerking like a broken marionette as he forced Casey to his knees. "You think this means anything?" RJ rasped, his tone teetering between mocking and desperate. "Your strength, your defiance—it’s a joke. You’re a joke."

At the edge of the clearing, the Krushers howled with laughter, their grotesque forms gleaming with sweat under the faint light of the Energorbs they held. One of the women, her garish frilly dress sticking to her obese frame, clutched her orb tightly, licking her lips as her beady eyes locked onto Casey.

"Oh, I like this one," she purred, the tone syrupy and lewd. "So much fight in him. Can’t wait to see him all shiny and broken, crawlin’ at my feet."

The other woman cackled, her makeup smeared as she pointed to Lily. "That Yellow one’s got fire in her. Gonna make her sparkle so bright when she’s done. Bet she’ll make a fine little pet."

RJ shoved Casey to the ground, stepping over him as he turned his gaze to Dominic, who was circling cautiously. "The big one," RJ muttered, his voice cracking with twisted excitement. "Strong, heavy. I bet you’ll fall the hardest."

Dominic braced himself, his weapon at the ready. RJ let out a maniacal, gasping laugh, his body trembling as he lunged. Dominic swung, but RJ was too fast, twisting around the attack and slamming into him with brutal force. Sparks erupted from Dominic’s suit as he crashed to the ground, groaning in pain.

"You don’t stand a chance," RJ hissed, crouching over Dominic, his voice trembling with fervor. "You think this fight matters? It doesn’t. None of it matters. But don’t worry. They’ll fix you. They’ll fix all of you. Just like they fixed me."

"Look at that!" Big Daddy Krusher bellowed, slapping his belly as he watched. "My boy’s makin’ quick work of ’em. Y’all thought you were heroes, huh? Thought you were somethin’ special. But heroes don’t matter here. You’re just meat for the grinder."

The Krushers roared with laughter. One of the men leaned forward, licking his lips as his piggish eyes fixed on Theo. "That Blue one’s got some fight in him. I like that. Bet he’ll look real nice under my boot." He chuckled, rubbing his belly. "Or maybe just polishin’ it."

RJ stood over the fallen Rangers, his chest heaving as he let out another broken, wheezing laugh. "You feel it now, don’t you? The weight. The futility. You can’t win. You never could. Just stop pretending. Stop resisting."

The battle raged on with fierce intensity as the Rangers pressed their advantage. The shimmering glow of their summoned weapons clashed against the feral precision of RJ’s movements. Though still terrifying in his agility and corrupted power, the Purple Ranger’s lack of a weapon began to tilt the scales in the team’s favor. Casey, Lily, and Theo coordinated their strikes from both sides, driving RJ toward Dominic, who wielded his Jungle Mace with determined focus.

“Keep pushing!” Casey shouted, his tonfas sparking as they collided with RJ’s armored form. “We’re breaking through to him!”

RJ staggered under the relentless assault, his jerking movements becoming less precise. His voice trembled, faltering as he gasped between blows. “You… don’t… understand…” The manic edge to his tone cracked, replaced by something raw and broken. “I… I didn’t want this… Help me. Please…”

The plea struck the Rangers like a thunderclap. They hesitated, their weapons lowering slightly as they exchanged uncertain glances. Lily’s grip on her staff slackened, trembling. “RJ…? Is that really you?”

Theo’s fan spun slower, his eyes narrowing with hope and suspicion. “He’s fighting it. We can bring him back.”

But that hesitation was their fatal mistake.

With a guttural snarl, RJ’s hand shot out, grabbing Dominic’s weapon-wielding arm in a vice-like grip. Before the White Ranger could react, RJ twisted Dominic’s arm, forcing the Jungle Mace into a downward slash. The weapon unleashed a powerful shockwave, a blinding arc of energy that slammed into Casey, Lily, and Theo, sending them hurtling through the air. They hit the ground hard, their suits sparking as they groaned in pain.

“Dominic!” Casey shouted, struggling to push himself up. But it was too late.

RJ turned, his movements now smoother, more deliberate, as he drove a brutal kick into Dominic’s chest. The Rhino Ranger staggered back, disoriented, and stumbled into the waiting arms of one of the female Krushers. She cackled with delight, her sweaty, frilly dress clinging to her grotesque frame as she grabbed Dominic by the chin of his helmet, flicking it playfully.

“Oh, aren’t you just the prettiest little thing?” she seduced. She reached into the folds of her dress, producing another glowing Energorb. “You’re gonna look so good all shiny and broken, sugar.”

Dominic’s heart raced as he realized what was happening. His arms shot out, shoving the woman away with a burst of strength. He backflipped once, twice, avoiding the cursed orb as it emitted sharp, dangerous zaps that crackled through the air. The Krusher woman growled, her eyes narrowing with frustration as she hurled the orb toward him.

Dominic leaped for a third backflip, but this time the zap caught him mid-air.

The Rhino Ranger screamed, the sound piercing and agonized as his muscles locked and convulsed violently. Inside his helmet, his eyes widened in pure terror, his body flailing as the zap overwhelmed him. Sparks flew from his suit as his limbs spasmed uncontrollably. He clawed desperately at the air, trying to regain control, his movements jerky and frantic. But the force of the zap slammed him into the ground, the impact sending a shockwave of dust and debris into the air.

“Dom!” Lily’s voice was shrill with panic as she scrambled to her feet, only to collapse again from the aftershock of RJ’s earlier attack.

Dominic lay sprawled on the ground, his chest heaving as he struggled to breathe. His vision blurred, and the world around him seemed to spin. He looked up, disoriented, as RJ’s shadow loomed over him. The Purple Ranger’s voice was cold and hollow, devoid of the desperation from moments before.

“Stop fighting it,” RJ hissed, raising his foot. “Just let go.”

With a brutal kick, RJ’s boot connected with Dominic’s helmet, the impact sending a sickening crack through the air. The Rhino Ranger’s head snapped back, his dazed form twitching as the vortex from the Krusher woman’s Energorb began to draw him in. The orb's glow intensified the swirling energy wrapping around Dominic’s legs and pulling him inch by inch toward the cursed object.

Dominic’s muffled screams echoed through the clearing as the unseen vortex dragged him closer to the glowing orb, his body twisting unnaturally against the pull. His clawed gloves dug into the ground, tearing deep grooves into the dirt, but it was futile. The force of the vortex was relentless, his legs now lifted entirely off the ground, flailing wildly in the air.

“No—NO! Casey! Lily! Theo! RJ!” Dominic cried out, his voice breaking into jagged sobs. His desperate shouts were a cacophony of fractured words, panicked breaths, and the animalistic groans of pure agony. “Rhino power! RHINO POWER!” he screamed, his voice hoarse, as if invoking his roll call might somehow save him. But there was no answer. No rescue.

His legs began to twist unnaturally, the pull of the vortex growing stronger, the unseen force twisting his body like a ragdoll. The first sickening crack rang out as his boots crumpled inward, his limbs folding in ways they were never meant to. His screams hit a new pitch, a raw, primal sound that sent chills down the spines of the remaining Rangers.

“Look at him go!” Big Daddy Krusher guffawed, his enormous belly shaking as he slapped it. “Ain’t it somethin’? Now you kids know why they call us the Krushers!”

The woman holding the Energorb cackled, her greasy tongue sliding across her lips. “Oh, I do love watchin’ ’em break. One piece at a time, nice and slow.” She cooed mockingly, rocking the orb in her hands. “You’ll be mine soon, darlin’.”

Dominic howled in agony as his legs continued to twist and crush, the pressure moving upward, his boots snapping and imploding into the force of the vortex. The crushing reached his knees, shattering armor and bones echoing like fireworks. His legs were torn apart, piece by piece, as the vortex sucked them into the glowing orb.

“Stop—STOP!” Dominic screamed, his voice distorted from his own raw cries. “It hurts! RJ, please! HELP ME!”

RJ stood silent, his head tilted as if observing the carnage with a cold detachment. The other Rangers scrambled to their feet, their movements sluggish and disoriented from their injuries. Casey stumbled forward, his hand outstretched. “DOMINIC!” he screamed, his voice trembling with desperation.

But it was too late. Dominic’s arms, still clawing at the ground, were suddenly pinned to his sides by an invisible force. The vortex tugged harder, dragging him closer to the orb. He writhed and flailed, but his limbs were locked in place. The crushing pressure climbed higher, up his thighs, and into his torso, each twist and implosion marked by a sickening crunch that echoed through the clearing.

“Oh, I love this part,” the Krusher woman purred, her eyes alight with cruel delight. “Watch closely, kiddos. This is the grand finale.”

Dominic’s helmeted head thrashed violently as the vortex overtook him entirely. His screams became incoherent, a jumbled mess of guttural cries and desperate pleas. The remaining Rangers could only watch in horror, frozen in place by the overwhelming dread that there was no saving him.

The last visible piece of Dominic—the gleaming white of his helmet—hovered above the orb for a moment, as though defying the vortex’s pull. Then, with a final, deafening crunch, the helmet collapsed inward, folding and twisting as it was sucked into the small, cursed object. The vortex ceased abruptly, leaving only silence and the faint, rhythmic hum of the Energorb.

Now heavy with its new victim, the orb dropped to the ground with a dull thud. Its once-clear surface now glowed with a faint white light, pulsing gently with the Rhino Ranger’s energy. The Krusher woman bent down, scooping it up with a gleeful chuckle. She pressed it to her cheek, her sweaty face glistening with ecstasy as she licked the surface. “Mmm, he’s mine now. My big, strong Rhino, all shiny and helpless.”

The other Krushers laughed, their voices ringing with mockery and triumph. “Told ya,” Big Daddy said, pointing at the remaining Rangers. “Y’all can fight all ya want, but this is what’s waitin’ for ya. Just a matter of time.”

Casey, Lily, and Theo stood in stunned silence, their bodies trembling as the weight of their failure crashed over them. Dominic was gone—consumed, crushed, reduced to nothing but energy in the Krusher woman’s hands. Their friend, their teammate, their brother-in-arms… gone.

“You see now?” he said, his tone devoid of emotion. “It’s pointless to fight. You’ll all join me soon.” And as the woman cradled the throbbing Energorb, RJ turned his head toward the remaining three Rangers, his movements jerky and unnatural. His voice was soft, but it carried a chilling certainty.

The Krusher woman cradled the throbbing Energorb in her chubby, sweaty hands, her eyes alight with twisted delight as she listened to the faint, agonized screams emanating from within. Dominic’s voice echoed faintly, distorted and broken, as though trapped in a confined, suffocating space. His screams of pain were jumbled and desperate, rising and falling in pitch with every word.

“Oh, darlin’,” the woman crooned, pressing the orb to her ear as if savoring a melody. “I can hear ya. Screamin’, beggin’. All that pain... it’s just delicious.”

She giggled, her laughter high-pitched and manic, before licking the orb’s surface with a long, slobbery drag of her tongue. The orb pulsed brighter, Dominic’s cries amplifying for a brief, horrifying moment, his words barely comprehensible. “It burns—it BURNS! Let me OUT! PLEASE!”

The remaining Rangers froze in place, their bodies trembling as the horrific sound hit their ears. Casey gritted his teeth, his fists clenching around his tonfas. Lily covered her mouth, her eyes wide with terror, while Theo visibly shuddered, his fan trembling in his hand. None of them dared move, their minds unable to comprehend what they were hearing.

The battle wasn’t over, but for the Rangers, it felt like they had already lost.

The Krusher woman laughed again, her eyes rolling back slightly as if intoxicated by the energy within the orb. “Oh, he’s perfect.” She licked the orb again, slobbering over it as her tongue left trails of glistening saliva on the glowing surface. “Feel that heat, sugar? That’s what happens when you fight too hard. Burnin’ alive, screamin’ your head off, all trapped in this little crystal. Ain’t that right, my shiny Rhino?”

Dominic’s muffled cries continued, rising and falling in broken, agonized bursts. “It’s crushing me—it’s too tight—I can’t—can’t breathe—” His voice cut off for a moment, replaced by guttural gasps and choking sounds, as though he were suffocating in the confined space of the orb.

The woman’s face twisted into a grotesque grin as she rubbed the orb against her cheek, her greasy skin smearing across its surface. “Oh, I could do this all day. Feels so good havin’ you in there, all mine, screamin’ for me.” She licked it again, her eyes flicking toward the remaining Rangers. “Bet y’all are wonderin’ what it feels like, huh? Don’t worry, you’ll find out soon enough.”

Casey’s stomach turned, bile rising in his throat as he forced himself to speak. “You’re a monster,” he spat, his voice trembling with rage and fear. “Let him go!”

The woman snorted, rolling her eyes. “Let him go? Oh, honey, why would I do that? He’s mine now. My little Rhino, trapped in his own personal hell. Ain’t no comin’ back from that.” She licked the orb again, her tongue sliding over its surface as Dominic’s faint screams echoed once more.

Theo’s voice was low, barely audible as he took a shaky step forward. “This... this can’t be happening.”

“Oh, it’s happenin’, sugar,” the woman cooed venomously. “And it’s gonna happen to all of ya. One by one, you’ll be screamin’ just like him. Burnin’, beggin’, breakin’. And when you’re all nice and shiny inside these little pretties…” She giggled, holding the orb up high. “You’ll be ours forever.”

The other Krushers roared with laughter, their grotesque forms shaking with mirth as they watched the Rangers recoil in horror. Big Daddy Krusher stepped forward, his massive frame casting a shadow over the clearing. “Ain’t nothin’ like the sound of heroes learnin’ their place,” he drawled, tipping his hat. “Y’all best make peace with it now. Fightin’ only makes it worse.”

Dominic’s voice, faint but still audible, broke through the laughter. “It’s... too much… make it stop—please, make it STOP!” His words dissolved into another scream, the sound raw and agonized, as though the very fabric of his being was being torn apart within the orb.

Lily took a step back, her hands trembling as tears welled in her eyes. “We have to do something,” she whispered, the tone cracking. “We can’t just… we can’t let this happen to him.”

Casey nodded, his jaw tight as he gripped his tonfas. “We won’t. But we have to be smart about this. If we rush in, we’re all dead.”

The Krusher woman smirked, holding the orb close to her chest like a cherished trophy. “That’s right, little kitty. Think long and hard about your next move. Wouldn’t want to end up like your precious Rhino here, now would ya?”

She licked the orb one last time, her laughter ringing through the clearing as Dominic’s muffled cries faded, his voice growing weaker with each passing second. The remaining Rangers exchanged a look, their fear etched into their faces. They knew they had to act—but every second they waited brought them closer to the same horrifying fate.
